What Is Your Preferred Art Site?

Lately I've been finding myself struggling to keep up with social media. I want to have my work seen more which I learned in school means networking and communication but it's....abnormally hard? I mainly post on instagram and as much as I used to love IG it's just not the same now. I've been having a rough time as you guys know lately and I made a hiatus post and I mean, I got two indirects basically calling me out on being whiny. And I'm like 90% sure it was me because they're both people I used to talk to often that are salty I don't really talk to them anymore but I mean....I don't talk to anyone much anymore, I just haven't been able to lately.
But I digress.
Tumblr is almost impossible for art unless it's a specific style or you befriend artists with high follower counts. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just want to kinda keep to myself a bit.
Instagram other than what's above is also crawling in drama and art theft. Which sucks so bad bc I've made so many amazing friends on there that I love dearly.
I haven't really given twitter a chance...? I don't know how well the art community works on there and I honestly don't know how to use it.
Amino is just...awful. Full of children and I was accused of stealing my own art....twice. (???)
FurAffinity I love and I've also made great friends on here too but I just...Idk when to post or how to gain a following without doing raffles. And commissions come first- I also really need to finish my first raffle prize (bless you diski for being so amazingly patient).
DeviantArt is......oh god it's cringey most of the time and I lost a lot of respect for it a while ago because of a debate on art theft. There's also people on it that I don't want to see. And I also need to change my name on it but I don't wanna pay $15 on CORE just to do that,,,,,
I don't really want a lot of followers, definitely not that insane 10+k you see on IG because where there's a lot of people, there's a lot of hate and I'm trying to avoid that.
Basically I'm looking for a site with mostly great aspects. A place where I can talk to my friends in peace and avoid drama. Where I can post freely and not see so much negativity, Here on FA I've mostly found that but I'm also really shy and stop talking easily.
I've been in such a shitty rut lately it's hard for me to focus on loving my art and I'm thinking posting more often on anything but instagram may help but I don't know where to start.
Do you guys have any opinions?
I'm also starting a webcomic soon *hopefully* and would like to know where to start there. On tumblr, I'm afraid it won't be seen but I've heard tapastic is kinda suspicious when it comes to rights."

FA+

but Really i wanted to give an option :3 Now, i don't know much about it or the community, how large it may be or how well artists do there, but there is Furry Network. I like it's set up and it's potential, however it does seem slow. I've seen some people complain about their posting rules or something like a long time ago, and what they allow, but honestly i've seen worse on FA so far, and they have a tag blocking system so that's been no trouble for me. It's not too popular i don't think, but i mean if you'd like to give it a try hers a link
https://beta.furrynetwork.com/
I don't use or know of much else thats a decent community. Honestly it's hard to find a community with furries without the drama XD Some are better then others of course.
Wish i could offer more help ;3; Hopefully someone has some more sites they've tried, i'd like to know myself honestly.
I'd seen that site around once or twice but never made an account. I just might bc why not? c: Thanks for the recommendation! <3 And check back occasionally to see if anyone has any ideas haha xD
I feel the same about twitter and tumblr orz Anyways these are my toughts about it~
I am giving it another shot tho! I can't let my most faved thing be a steven universe fanart from forever ago on it LOL
Thank you though, I appreciate your thought! <3
As for finding a chill spot with zero drama... that also depends entirely on what sort of content you post vs the core audience that will be seeing it. I haven't been on DA in a LONG time because of that shifty art theft debauchery, though have been considering going back? I'm still pretty good on tumblr, though taking the hiatus I did did sort of thwart me. Twitter's got a pretty decent chill zone, but see also: posting times and etc.
As for the webcomic, I host mine on both tumblr and Tapastic. While the shiftiness of Tapastic has only recently come into question, I've had no trouble with it? Most people haven't; it's just the potential for trouble that is a little bit "yikes" inducing. I still recommend it, though there's also platforms to consider like SmackJeeves, which is a classic comic hosting site. (I'm also thinking of posting my comic here maybe--I'm told comics do Really well here. We shall see?)
But those are my twenty-two cents on the topic!
I found myself trying deviantArt again bc so many people have told me to so we could try it together haha. I've heard they have cracked down more on the art theft and block systems so that helps. But...Idk I just find myself falling out of dA a LOT. I really need to try tumblr again and actually keep posting. Totally gotta recode my blog too blehhhh.
Yeah like I hadn't seen anything about Tapastic being weird about that stuff til very lately but I saw so much of it the other night and one of the comics I followed on it was actually taking a long hiatus bc of something that happened with it?? I might still give it a shot, especially since the format of all the comics I see on it are nice, very inspiring u vu
Thank you sm as always for the help though, you're the best! <3 <3 <3
Heck yeah, heck yeah! :D And I feel that, hehe! I went over to tumblr and have barely posted since. And I know you can do it!!
Yeah, Tapastic changed something in their TOS the other night which people panicked about, but it actually didn't affect most people--just a few. Even still, it wasn't a Good move, so go about it with a little caution, but I still like posting there because of formatting--and because you get ad revenue. >:3c (Not a lot, mind you, but you do!)
Always, friend!! >v< <3
