ADVICE- Home town for the young, broke, and fabulous

I'm moving out!!!
Like, within the next 2 months hopefully!
I got the final word that to do my own thing, basically I'm disowned by my family, so FUCK do I feel liberated, I'm SO excited to get out and start my adventure finally!
Now my next step is to CAREFULLY pick the destination for the one-way ticket out of New Jersey-
Here's where I'm interested in: Somewhere in Colorado; Austin TX, Seattle-Tac WA, Baton Rouge LA, Oklahoma City OK, and Milwaukee WI
My criteria is I will have a decent bank account leaving, but no job, so I'm living on the cheap for the time being. I also want a hip place to be young and creative, I'm going to be ambitious trying to start a career in everything from stand up comedy to selling art at festivals and shit, or even writing my novel!
Also, if it's a place that's currently near-impossible to get even a menial labor job, I might need to avoid that, I need to pay rent somehow!
I don't care much about the bar count for a city, Im definitely more interested in the marijuana tolerance though, and also, I just want to know who of you crazy fuckers I'll be around to hang with maybe! :Love:

Are dead set on a major city ? Or just someplace more open ? I wish you luck!
The smart thing to do to is make money doing what you love, and I really only love writing jokes and epic adventures! I admit I know it's relying on luck a bit, but luck to me is preparation+opportunity=luck, and I have literally been unable to prepare anything at all thanks to art being disallowed in my own house :(
So this is a TOTAL fresh start for me, and I acknowledge I have to start from the bottom!
I'm trying to think of places that are like that and other than some you mentioned I can only think of New Hope over here in PA which is very open but its pricey to live unless you can find a decent place and or roomate. But plenty of stores that could possibly work out for your job.
Honestly it comes down to what compromises you can make and what you can deal with to achieve that dream.
Hell one thing I keep on thinking of, and my partner and I own a house now, is building / buying a Tiny home and just moving around the country as we want. You just need to find a place to park it and hook up power and water every now and then :)
Wish I could be more help in narrowing down where to go but I can't say that I have traveled a lot to other cities.
