What the hell Mark?

You had one job. One fucking job in regards to me. If you got tired of Sonia, ownership was suppose to default to me.
Yeah I don't draw much anymore, and yeah we're not as close as we use to be, but I still considered you a friend and I still valued the status between our characters, why do you think I tried to pry RPs out of you? Yes I know you got bored of her, you always do. You make a character, you fawn over them, then you get bored and discard them. And I don't care if that comment is hurtful or not because you fucking know it's true. It's just a matter of timed till your current roster gets benched and traded off too.
So I figured there'd be a time when the RPs were dead, I saw it coming, that's why I kept trying to get something out of you. But you couldn't just talk to me about it. You couldn't just say 'look I'm done with Sonia, here ya go, do what you want". No, you had to hand her off to one of your newer friends that has no bearing on the history that's been built up.
In one swift action you betrayed me. I've tried to be a decent friend to you. When people kept flaking off or leaving you for one reason or another. Through all the drama I tried to be there as a friend. It's nice to see how you repay that.
Oh and I"m not removing any of the Sonia artwork I have posted. I worked hard on those drawings, and she's part of the reason I improved at all in my art. Granted I wish I was better but I got busy with real life, so I don't have time to devote to drawing anymore. Point is I'm not taking down any of my artwork, just because of some change of status.
So go have fun with your new characters and your new friends, till you get bored of them as well, and you're left all alone at the end of the day, because when one of them stabs you in the back again, I won't be there.

It really sounds like you weren't really a friend, if you can toss a friendship aside over a character ..
Clearly the character means more to you than a real person .
Sad on many levels
This was the last straw, problems had been building up. He's stubborn, you can't talk sense into him, he barely wanted to even talk at all for the past year. Of course I wouldn't just talk to him for RP sake.
Let me ask you how well you two know him. Are you in any position to be judging the fallout of a friendship? Or are you just kissing a popular artist's ass?
We both know Mark won't release who the new owner is. His previous and atrocious track record for giving out characters and NEVER saying who the new owners are evidence enough. He only ever says a friend now owns them and considering his friend list, it would take days to find the right person, if they are even in there to begin with.
There's also the fact that unless asked, he won't say ANYTHING of their new whereabouts on his own. And more often than not from what I have seen, those questions don't get asked much and then the characters in question fade into obscurity. On top of this, there could be a chance that which character you ask about was sold under the table to someone else, like with most of the (previous) Horndog Strip Club cast.
You have (or have had for a while I should say) an opportunity before you to do what Mark most likely will not do and say where to find the new owner of one of his characters. And for Sonia no less, one of the longest time characters in his roster which has had so many changes and ins and outs over the years. And who is also a character that was supposed to be promised to you by default.
Again, I will sound like an ass to say this, but this could be worth telling people where to find Sonia, even if it's only by telling those who ask by notes and not publicly. And even more so if she has undergone a name change and a new design.
Ya know, he was rather mocking about it. And I hated him for it. After finding out how he completely retconned it all, makes me hate him even more.
I can't even get any references for the oldies, and he tries to pretend they never existed.
