Terrorism Level's Critical..

So the Terror Level in the UK has been raised to Critical after the incidents in Manchester today.
I'm a wee smol bit nervous about going into London in 8 days for a book launch now..
I'm still gonna go, I'm just vaguely worried, as the signing/launch party is like.. right next to Westminster, Big Ben, The Thames, Victoria Station etc etc.
I also know a fair few of my watchers are likely going to London's MCM, and I just wanted to say PLEASE be safe and super vigilant. Do what you can to be safe, but obviously by all means try and have fun.
We can't let terrorism, terrorize us. Otherwise they've won.
We need to stand strong together, hold our heads high, keep calm, and carry on.
Stiff upper lip and all that Jazz.
Safety of course, is number one. But above all else, live your lives.
And live them to the fullest.
You never know when your time might get cut short.
Don't let yourselves be forced into silence and hide away.

It is a scary time for us all, but we can't let them beat us down. Terror won't win over us.
That said, my mind has been wandering to the time in the future when I will need to travel to Wales to move to my love... I know it's not London, but the thought is still scary.
To you and everyone else, stay safe; though as you say yourself, have fun at your event(s)! ♥
But keep a weather eye on the horizon, trust your instincts. Be safe.
