Some Thoughts on Ftr Stuff
Journal, START 1) Will you be working on Panftr stuff anymore?
-Probably not! I feel like I'm done with panftr and that whole theme. My next project will, hopefully, be a bit more inclusive in subjects.
2) Do you have a project in the works?
-I've an idea for one. It'll be another successor to panftr, as you might expect; but development has been delayed due to engine issues. Flash is OK, but people are already having a lot of troubles getting Panftr to work locally, and flash itself is kind of a dying breed. At this point, I feel like flash might disappear sometime soon in the future- and if it does, I don't want all my work to disappear or become defunct along with it. As such, I'm getting help from Z, but until he develops something I can work with I'm kind of stuck.
On the same point, I intended for my patreon to be more useful for bigger projects like panftr enemies, but due to the worry about flash, it's kind of a graveyard right now.
Will you ever take comissions for Ftr stuff?
-Sadly, probably not! I've considered taking mini-comissions in which I just add functions and animations onto existing enemies (which would be the most likely scenario) but working within the files like that can get complicated and hard to keep track of. Not to mention returning to something that might actually be a year old can be a hassle all of its own.
Do you want to set up a regular streaming schedule?
-Yes, actually! I think regularly scheduled work hours for animating would be good. That being said, my will to actually animate wanes a lot. Each stream would probably only be around 2 hours long, maybe 3- and that's assuming I have something I really want to work on. Also, I still haven't seen my work schedule, and I might be acquiring a new job soonish. So it's hard to say if I could set up anything on a "regular" basis just yet.
Anyway, those are just some thoughts. Comments appreciated, I can throw more thoughts at you that way.

FA+

And additional thanks for coming up with awesome projects like these, can't wait to see what comes next.
Personally I think that there always will be a way to run flash content.
I also do hope to see Sholstim released for Panftr someday. I really like his design. :) He would be awesome as the last enemy for Panftr.
Anyway, thank you for Panftr! :)
just being eaten, then digested with the animation of a deflating balloon with the same standard sounds is what is 'dying'. But everyone who can make them are losing interest. I would actually pay good money to start it back up again.
I want my next big project to take that a step further and make every enemy have his or her own little scenario to go with them- but that's on a bit of a standstill atm.
Unfortunately, the likelihood of it getting updated is about the same as Half Life 3 being released.
The mere thought of updating it depresses him because of how much work he'll have to do, so he avoids it by making comics instead.
Dont ask him either, it triggers him
