Comic or Novel?

Hello y'all !
Before anything, thanks for the recent wave of watchers and favs ! I always appreciate it ! <3
So, here's the topic :
I have a project, circling around in my mind for years now. A full story, detailled characters, and a full world just waiting to be narrated.
Here's the thing : I don't have much time to spare. I'm now entering the "active" life. Since I'll start working in a few months now, and I know I won't be able to work on my projects much. Haven't had much the chance yet, anyway.
But since I may have thoses few month free, I'm wondering what should I do about this story I wanna relate.
I have two options :
-Start working on a comic that I'm plenty sure that It will take years to complete, If it [ever] completes.
-Turn it into a "hybrid" novel, with a loads of illustrations and maybe a few comic page in it.
Knowing that :
- People will prefer the comic, since it's a more acessible media ( But without knowing If I will be able to complete it )
-If writing a novel... I'm no writer. (plus I'm french, not an native english) I don't know how good It will be. And it will certainly less much read and much less pleasant than a comic. But it will surely be completed.
So I've just got to the point that I thought I should ask directly to you all.
What would YOU prefer?
Also, I've done one full page that I intended to do with the comic. I'll post it right after this journal, if it can help in any thoughts.

I'm a full-time banker, so I totally understand the difficulties of juggling everything.
Even if it takes you years, just be bold and do it!
Actually, It's the amount of work it requires that stops me. I can't do both, not in the same time anyway :)
I've opted for doing an illustrated novel and maybe turn it into a comic after :)
