Pain
Some people know if they talked to me or read my twitter but I had some of the worst pain I've ever experienced recently. Started as small pain in a vague region of my teeth on my right side. I thought it'd go away, it sometimes does.
Couple days ago I wake up early with immense pain there, I blunder downstairs and find ibuprofen, letting me sleep a bit longer after it eventually kicked in.
Got urgent dentist appointment, had a filling, worried the pain was waiting for me... It was. Hoped it was just something left over but no, an hour after sleeping it was even worse, then after another hour of sleep interrupted by more of it.
Thus me checking twitter at 4am and playing more of The Witcher before managing more sleep on my sofa at 8am with my head upright (read about blood pressure causing more hurting).
Dentist had no more urgent slots and it was Friday before a 3 day bank holiday weekend but I went in anyway to wait for a possible slot and I actually got seen. Dentist seemed a lil annoyed that I was bad again and I only had a vague idea of where the pain was, it was just an area.
The only way to describe the pain was that it made no damn sense; if I touched my mouth or teeth (even with an electric toothbrush) no extra pain. It was like it wasn't attached to anything and was just this malignant essence hanging around my mouth...
I had wondered if the pain was transposing from elsewhere as it felt it was on the top row, I'd have an x-ray at the bottom row the day before but the x-ray of the top showed nothing but a few small holes. Dentist said that was a thing where you could feel it on the wrong row etc, I remember calling the nervous system a sneaky bastard out loud.
She got a second opinion and turned out it was the tooth behind the one I had work on, there was a very deep filling and they found the nerve was inflamed and readily bleeding so we had it removed.
I've no clue what she was doing to my tooth after I spat out all that blood when she uncovered the nerve, (wasn't that much but it was quite dark), there were screws involved and what looked like fishing tackle on wires and all sorts of things. I still need to go in for a root canal on the 5th (two days before Squish-birthday). I'm not looking forward to more needles. I don't mind them but I had 5 injections in 2 days all in the same place.
I was so scared to go to bed that night, I'd have collectively 7 hour sleep in 2 days, not really reaching REM sleep for about a day and still went to bed at 2am as usual.
Thankfully I had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, only feeling like my jaw had been smashed in by someone, but the pain was that of a bruise and I can feel it's a healing pain, not whatever that other pain was. That was yesterday, today I had more sleep and still feel tired and bruised but so relieved I can eat, sleep and think again. I was worried that it would never go away.
Dr Modo
Before and during this, some of you that are on Eka's Portal's chatroom may have noticed "Storms" on there, that is indeed me as I wanted to mingle a little bit (and by this I mean sit in library and occasionally poke people and sometimes have people approach and/or recognise me and I'm still not used to that at all).
Anywho, Stormy isn't very versatile as he's basically me. And I have no killer or predatory instinct whatsoever, or really an instinct to hurt or even really win over others. While that may be a decent personality trait it doesn't make for very compelling or varied RP and there's always been this style of character (and art) that I adore but can't place...closest I can manage it "night club ace grime" as a genre/style, not useful I know.
Long story slightly less short, I've made another OC, both
datblangry and 
shorzie helped me with actual drawings (as I'm not really an artist, despite occasional requests to draw things for people) we got his design down I made him a profile!
I'm hoping to get quite a bit of art of him because he's very fun and more versatile then, say, Miso. (as Miso is based off of subtle wrongness and doesn't act normally yet is very quiet and it's what you don't see that makes her interesting - to me at least).
So here is dat boi's profile now
It was nice making him a profile, I'm wondering about having one for Miso too, though she'd be hard to play as in RP as she's almost more of a padding horror movie.
Birthday
Also it's my birthday again (already, I know right?) on the 7th of Junester, not asking for any gifts, just saying it's there if you were intending to/wanted to I thought I'd be sporting enough to give you a chance to, I've no expectations on it, still don't even know what I want present wise from family, so... yeah.
Trades and commishes for Dr Modo would be good, I just tend not to keep track of other's journals as I've a backlog of 17008 unread ones at the moment so I miss any and all raffles.
