Well, when I was a baby I went, but I don't remember that lol.
And the one time we were "camping" it was in a log cabin with friends and I was still younger, so.

We did find indian beads on the sides of the river we went down though! (Super sad, we lost them when we moved here, I'm still salty about that)

I love camping. Been many many times. I prefer going in the fall or early winter when the insects have died off. That way I can tarp camp or just sleep under the stars. This time I'll be in an RV for the first time. Last time I found out that my tent leaks. I haven't fixed it yet. Then again I'll have A/C and a fridge so I'm going to be eating better.
Last year I got stuck inside my tent for about three hours while I waited for the buffalo herd to move out of my campsite. That was interesting to say the least. They didn't touch anything or knock anything over so I'm happy. I'm planning on doing some fishing and general lazing about. I'd like to get me a good hammock as there's actually trees there. Where I live there's really only mesquite trees. Not bad as long as you don't mind 1-2 inch long thorns everywhere.

I've never found Indian beads before. That's awesome! I have found arrowheads and a stone axe head once. A friend of mine found dinosaur footprints. They were HUGE.

Yup! We were camping on his family's ranch. It was a week or so after a heavy rain and we went out exploring. He started yelling for us to come over that he found something and sure enough, giant foot prints. A few years later a paleontologist discovered a new species of dinosaur nearby. We spent a couple of days uncovering the tracks. We followed them for about 100 yards total before they faded out. We were hoping to find a fossil that we could do a dig on.
