Fursuit Commissions
Hello All!
So I've finished my suit and I feel comfortable enough to start taking commissions. Below I have listed the details for anyone who is interested. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time, I'm more then happy to talk with you.
Price Guide
Fullsuit - $1000
Partial - $650
Head Only - $425
These are estimated base prices. To receive a more accurate quote please e-mail me with a full description of what you are looking for. Quotes do not not secure a spot in the queue, this can only happen after the down payment is received.
Payment
Before starting a commission a 30% non-refundable down payment is required. Once this is received your spot will be secured in the commission queue. Once a commission is completed the resulting balance will need to received before the commission is sent to you. If the commission is to be given in person I'm happy to take the final payment there.
Payments can be sent either by Paypal or Money Order. Specific payment info will be e-mailed to you when an agreement has been met over the design and quoted price of the suit.
Time Estimates
I work a full time job thus only have a limited amount of time to work on commissions. In addition, I like to have the time to put quality into my work. Due to these factors I estimate that full suits will take around three months for production, not taking into account any commissions already in the queue. In the future I wish to lower my estimated production times, but for now I prefer to give a safe estimate.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs depend on location and dimensions of the suit. Unless another type of shipping is requested I will using UPS ground and purchase suitable insurance. The cost for shipping is not included in the base quote.
I'm also willing to transport suits to any convention that I may be attending free of charge.
Warranty
I provide a 60 day warranty on all parts under normal use conditions per my discretion. This means that from 60 days of receiving the item if any piece breaks due to my construction under normal conditions I will repair it free of charge. Any accidental (or intentional) damage caused is not covered. Shipping is not covered in the warranty.
What I will need
To receive a quote I will need to know what you want. A good visual description is required to get an accurate quote, any concept art you have will also aid in this process. Below are some common options available, but my no means is limited to this list.
Eye type
- Outside cartoon eyes (Note: Vision may be limited with this style)
- Inset following eyes (Note: Vision is generally better with this style)
Feet type
- Indoor show feet (Note: Can easily get damaged by ruff and abrasive surfaces)
- Outdoor feet
Leg type
- Strait normal leg
- Digigrade Legs (Note: Digigrade legs normally will raise the price, exactly depends on the details)
Paw Type
- Number of fingers
- Number of toes
Fur
- What colors
- What patterns
- Length of the fur
(Note: Not all fur colors and types exist, and some may more expensive to obtain. This can be discussed further during the quote.)
Once your spot is secured I will need your physical dimensions. Body measurements are done through the means of a duct tape dummy (DTD), head measurements taken with a tape measure. The DTD will need to be created and shipped to me before I can begin working on the body. Information about how to create a DTD, how to take head measurements, and where to ship the DTD will be sent in an e-mail to you once the down payment is received.

I could've just Googled it, though. But now I don't have to. :p
Others may have put more effort into theirs like the ones with armour and so forth but you had a general quality of design at least for your own character and I was left the entire con thinking "Who is that guy in the blue kangeroo outfit!" asking others who were also not sure and potentially only seen you a few times.
But yeah I'm getting carried away... Though I may not do anything at the moment I wish the absolute best out of you, and would love to see what great suits you end up making :)
I fully admit that I have much more to learn, but I don't see why I can't keep up the general quality as I do. ^^
I thank you for your support and I hope that I can end up creating some kick ass suits. :D
I've been waiting for this day...
I sort of doubt I'll ever want a suit though XD
yay!
I'll talk to you on aim sometime? you online?
what is your pay ment meth hod, do you do monthly or do you do you perfer it all at once?

I don't know if this journal is still valid, but i'll take a shot at it anyways.
At the moment all i wanted was a quote on an (about) price..

At (about) 1.5-2 inch length fur....
could you figure out a possible price?
Sorry to bug if this journal isn't...applicable anymore. ^^;
Yeah, at this time I'm not really making fursuits. I would like to come back to it later although I'm not really able to say when this might be. When I was doing suits, a digi-grade suit would be around $1200-1300 depending on options.
I love the design of the character though, I think it will look really good as a suit ^^
I'm really looking forward to the day you open up commissions again. I would love to see how it turns out. :3
And thank you very much for the compliment, it means a lot to me. ;D
