Border rules for FanWorld?

Hello! Has anyone in the U.S gone to FanWorld? I want to know so you need a passport to go to the Canadian side or can you just use your state ID? I want to go but I'm unsure on how the rules are. I looked at the site but I still want to know from someone who has been their before. If anyone should be so kind to let me know I'd appreciate it a lot.
