But who knows?
Permission is key people. x'V
And she's pretty right.
(Even tho we both know they made it to do stuff with a lookalike to your OC which is a bit creepy)
I know some people who are a-okay with people using their pictures.
I know some people who go absolutely apeshit when someone does so.
Me? I find it flattering that they choose one of my pictures of all of the ones on the internet they could choose. My problem lies when people use a picture and claim it's theirs.
Regardless, it's never fun when you have to butt heads with someone like that, if someone says something, just take em down without a problem.
There is nothing okay with doing something of another persons OC if it doesn't say so.
And the arrogance where he said I shouldn't have gotten pissed off at someone for trying to get my OC in something that didn't fit them at all? Get them in something that person KNEW I didn't want?
There is nothing okay about doing things like that.
If it's someone who has permission or knows your OC well (ie a friend or so) yeah it's not really that bad. But this guy was implying drawing stuff of other characters, of the owners didn't know he existed.
What happened if he drew something of their OCs that they didn't want then huh?
That's not right. At all. The character isn't their property, you don't just take your friends food because you can. You ask if you can have it.
Sorry about the butthead.
We were talking about people drawing/getting things without permission.
And I explicitly meant things that person doesn't like.
(ie someone getting something of Mitternacht subbing but not asking me first.)
I feel like I should at minimum be approached first.
But didn't know it was about em being drawn, there wasn't much of an inkling in the journal. I've had a couple people poke about drawing one of my characters and I was alright with it, never really had someone up and draw em and find it later on.. by the sounds of that, it just suuucks
I asked what of, they tried to dodge answering it a few times.
And then they answered with something they knew was something I didn't want.
Exactly, I feel just asking is all you need. It makes everything much easier.
