I'm SO close, and so far
I have an interview tomorrow morning for what's pretty much a sure-fire job.
I'll likely start my shifts this week and get paid in about 2 weeks...
until then I've gotta provide for myself. My food and other necessities.
I've been working solid 8AM-8PM days (sometimes longer) and it's been wonderfully productive
so I can catch up on overdue work. It feels amazing.
Just as a reminder, I do have adoptables up for sale in my gallery.
Those are how I'm supporting myself day-to-day right now.
Things will get better soon!

Just letting you know that the badge you mailed to me hasn't shown up. I hope it wasn't lost in the mail

Most places have plenty of min wage jobs, but *if* you're lucky enough to get full time hours it's still not enough to afford a 1 bedroom apartment anywhere, let alone anything else. Decent paying jobs that give decent hours aren't easy to come by :(
And Psitt is right, a majority of companies hire many part time workers to avoid providing benefits. If you can get full time work it's still roommates, parents, and food stamps.
I used to work 50 hours a week in Arizona, I lived in low income housing with a roommate, and still was on food stamps and took two busses one way to work.
And looking forward to the art :3
I hope you haven't forgotten about my commissions :,D
