Musings of a lone wolf
So it's been about four months now since I moved out of my sister's and started taking on the world
on my own. And I have come to discover: A LOT has changed since then. lol
I have found that I'm looking at things more as a responsible adult rather than an impulsive teenager.
I've noticed that I don't splurge as often, and when I do splurge, I always do it within a budget. Or I
plan the splurge out weeks in advance and save up.
I've noticed that I'm more careful with my stuff, especially when it comes to big things like my computer,
car, or TV. I take better care of it, and keep a closer eye on it.
I've also noticed that I tend to think things through a lot more thoroughly. I try to think of all of the effects
and ramifications of everything I do before I do it (within a reasonable time frame, of course).
And I've noticed that I don't seem to go out as much. I seem to prefer my own company, or else just my
two cats and I. Even though I do long for a romantic relationship again, I don't feel a need to rush towards
another one.
Just a few things I've noticed through being on my own.
But anyways, on to some good news and not ramblings. xD
I finally was able to save up and buy myself a new TV! I found a 50" Sharp Roku TV at Best Buy for about
$330! I was so excited about saving a shit ton of money on it that I wound up splurging and bought a sound
bar to go with it as well (and the sound bar only cost me $50!). And the best part of that is that the Morrowind
expansion for Elder Scrolls Online comes out today, so I'll be able to play that on the new TV!
And other than that, my life is going great atm. Work is going well, I have all my bills in order, and I'm just
living the good life while it lasts. Enjoy it while you got it, right?
So, enough about me! I'd love to hear from you guys as well! I miss all you fuzzbutts!
