Debating a new account, your thoughts?

I always read every comment even if I don't respond!
I've been softly debating a new account for a while.
Sort of a fresh start for myself now that I'm fairly established in my prefered genre. Also I'd like to get away from my ooooold work.
This name didn't have any particularly great meaning to me when I signed up on dA. One of my nicknames irl was 'geckoguy' because I owned 3 geckos. When I was signing up for dA it was during my lunch break in school, the bell was about to ring and I was a bit frantic... also I wasn't thinking ahead about any long term association with my chosen username XD Well 'geckoguy' was taken... as was 'geckoguy1' and 'geckoguy12'. Yes I know I wasn't being very creative, but this was when I hadn't considered being an artist, it was more of a lurker account, and waaaay before I considered myself a furry. Finally out of frustration I chose 'geckoguy123456789'
After I had started doing 'art' and embraced the furry fandom I tried to sign up on FA... buuuut that was during the stretch of time a few years ago when the new user registration was disabled. But eventually I signed up (obviously)
I'd leave this gallery as is, no work will be deleted. Plus a good way to figure out who my serious watchers are and a good way to clean up my watch list. I'll decline to say what my new name will be, but what are your thoughts are on a new account?

But again, up to you. I'd like to think you'd keep most of your watchers, but not everyone keeps up with this sort of thing.
That and, I'll be honest, I'm a little shallow: Numbers matter to me, even if a little.
Note me on the new changes if you could, please?
I have 3 active aliases, and at least 3 dormant and abandoned ones. I recommend fresh starts. They feel good.
If you do end up going for a new one, I'd like to follow it as well if possible, wouldn't want to miss out on such potential.
