Here's to my father

These 9 years were very hard. There was more space than the one I got used to. Long time of empty chairs on dinner, a still car and an immobile office chair. I try to convince myself that this is just a long time to not see you, and I fool myself by thingking you'll walk again into the front door and say hi to me once more like November 2nd. It's also been rough to Mom and sis, but we got the memories, the good times that came, the things you grew on life. Those things, as long as I still remember you and love you, will be there. Forever.
