Life Update
Haaa, been a while since I made a journal hasn't it? Well, here's a small update as to what's been going on lately.
I've been working on getting things sorted personally; figuring out my depression and anxiety, and my sleep disorder. One of these things I can now be official with.
I was just down in Calgary with my parents, as I had an appointment at the Center For Sleep, which is (obviously) a sleep clinic (sadly there isn't one in my city).
And now I can officially say that I have DSPD (Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder), which I was pretty much sure I had anyway, since there's enough evidence through my teen years to now that I've had it for pretty much 12 years already.
So, now I can work towards managing it a bit better and getting on a better schedule. This doesn't mean getting to a 'normal' sleep schedule like most people have. I will never have a 'normal' sleep schedule, not with DSPD. DSPD is a lifelong disorder. 'Better' schedule more means just trying to go to bed a little earlier than I have been so I can wake up a little earlier than I have been. Whether it works, I don't know, I'll have to wait and see how things work out.
Anyway, that's a small update. The depression and anxiety I'm still working on getting the ball rolling on, but at least I'm finally trying to get things sorted.
Until next time~
