I suppose my critique would be keep be mindful of perspectives and shading, pay attention to anatomy and don't make your jizz look like chunky mayonnaise. You seemed to have those down pact so good job! :D

All looks good to me, can't say I've seen anything "bad" or "off" art wise.

I see TM69 got updated a few times though I haven't seen any notifications of it on FA to say "hey! page updated!"

But that's only a guess as to wby that thing hasn't gotten the attention it deserves.

I mean don't get yourself down about promotion and exposure. From what I hear, the stat you dump all your points into for fame and fortune on the internet is "Luck". Popularity on the internet is fickle and fleeting, just like any other art out there.

I'd say your FA momentum took a hit most likely to your 'hiatus', but it's for the best reason you could ask for; you had a ton of work outside FA. THAT'S great. I love hearing that over the other people who are making journals saying they're about to be evicted and can't afford pizza.

I'd definitely ask Big Z how they stay relevant and promote themselves between their gaps in released animation and art. Maybe even post drawings or doodles that reference your comics so people get sucked in a click hole out of curiosity. But really since you're back from cons and already have a few commissions out of the way I expect things to ramp up to how they were before.

I think Z does short animated podcast like update vids but then they're tweeting and drawing things here and there as well. It's a bit different for me because I have the alt and can only space out my time so much between them. It's hard to find that balance.

Yeah it's a balance and you never seem to be short on stuff to do so it's hard to give any advice. You might want to split it between Primary/Tertiary/Hobby tiers, where primary is your main breadwinner, tertiary is your alternative works that simply cover a broader spectrum of marketability, and your hobby is what's fun but doesn't serve much more than enjoyment.

Your primary can flip-flop; when you get a big job, that's the breadwinner hands-down. But beyond that, do you feel Nastacula works are your primary focus, or are SFW things your primary focus? I think many people make their porn accounts their "porn alts" that aren't their main focus, but you definitely find this type of work both entertaining and important.

Either way it seems suit making is currently your hobby-tier medium.

mmm, i think in all seriousness, porn work is enjoyable but I just dont see it taking off like some of the better known porn artists. It's a competitive market and you have to be really really good...but I'm not gunna stop. It's fun and challenging work and something I can grow with. It's also very motivating, which is something the SFW stuff doesnt do for me anymore. It's really hard to figure it all out.

Well, all the elite furry porn artists didn't get famous just by talent, it had a lot to do with them having their level of talent in the right place at the right time, before there was a lot of talent in the fandom. But you don't have to strive for God Tier at furry porn to make it your primary focus, you definitely eat curry with your nastacula money and it brings enjoyment and creative challenges and a level of weirdness that really pushes your work to that next level.

I really do think your NSFW stuff is better than your SFW art because you seem to go into it un-hinged and it looks like you're less worried about what's popular, what will get more views, and what won't be viewed as too controversial for mainstream audiences. I can't tell what it's like drawing from your perspective, but it certainly SEEMS like you're a bit more free with your expression with Nastacula art, and I think Minibell will be a good place to keep that furry porn account "freedom of expression" while not having to pidgeon-hole your efforts in an exclusively pornographic manner.

That's all just a wordy way of saying "I think you do just fine with how you're doing it now". You have multiple worthwhile angles to choose from, and you can really switch to either of them at any given time. You're "a master of none, but pretty fuckin' great at some".

OH and I shit you not, keep up with the suit heads. It's just foam right now but it looks cartoony and wild as hell, it's way better than some of the WIP's I see of the generic head variety. If you can nail that sort of Loony Toons But In 3D look, you can strike gold.

right, and now THAT'S taking more time away from things like art...but it's a really cool hobby to have so far. Very motivating and I'm glad you like the progress! Hearing feedback on that stuff makes me want to do it more. I think the future mission for that is to build 2 costumes - a banjo and a kazooie...maybe a mumbo - and then just show up to shit, never say a word except for "da-hyuk" and the like and freak people out.

I think the freakiest part would be the person in the kazooie mask riding in a giant vackpack.

Hm, I'm not an artist, but I've noticed that in your male images, a few of them contain exaggerated broad shoulders. This might just be a style thing, but I'd be careful with it as it's easy to slip into bad anatomy.

You're a fantastic artist, I love all of your stuff already and can't wait to see you get even better!

Anatomy around the arms and legs has always been something I struggle with, but it's getting more and more familiar the more I do figure drawing. I do LOVE drawing big broad bear men tho. >;3
