Well, I'm only a few months ahead of you. It's really not so bad, I think. I think so far I like being an adult. Here's a list of the benefits of being 30:

-Less people call you a "kid" or "baby" these days, and doesn't that respect feel good?
-freedom!! (depending on your financial situation, sometimes, but overall by this age you don't have to answer to parents anymore, right?)
-You probably still don't know the meaning of life, but you have a better idea of who you are, or want to be, and what you really want out of life. Or maybe you don't, but that's okay! You've still got time to try to answer this.
-You may not be in your 20s anymore, but you're still in your prime!

One could argue some of these, and aren't applicable to everyone of course; but they're definitely some things I enjoy about being 30!
