Well if parents actually raised their kids, would there even be a furry fandom?

Which come to think of it, I grew up when the internet was just starting to shift from aol and dial up to Broadband... and I was given full access to the world..

I am sure parents watch their kids online now right?

That's just how people are sometimes, our fandom just reflects how people are in general, with all variations in a nutshell. But there are many great people around too, which are the opposite of this what you mentioned above. We shouldn't forget that after all.

What is funny when it's a notorious person who says that everybody agree to his/her thoughts.
But when it's someone like me who says there is a problem in this fandom, all i get it's insults , that i am a react ecc ecc....
Liberty of speech huh?? Well it's like youtube if u dont have many followers u can shut ur mouth and u cant split some thruth to the face of people who deserve it.
And u have that amont of followers u still cant because u dont have the right to denounce a problem whatever it is.

Not a problem relegated only to the furry fandom. It's people in general.

From experience, people form opinions of the world and of others, they then use those opinions both as a fact and shield. Getting a person to change their opinion even with the presence of provable and repeatable evidence to the contrary is difficult at best, if not impossible. The tendency to double down on personal opinions prevents people from looking at a subject or differing opinion and trying to reason with or debate why it should be that way or why it is that way. Reactions to an attempted pushes out of the comfort zone of their opinions can and will often be reactionary bordering on insolent or violent.

The biggest thing to take away from this is critical thinking is a skill. One that must be taught and is not inherent, putting yourself outside what is comfortable and familiar makes many people behave in a reactionary fashion. What you may be seeing is a degradation in the ability to apply logic and reason to situations over pure unadulterated opinion treated as fact.

It's an unfortunate side effect of a plethora of current culture, tribalism, and other problems that are unlikely to be addressed any time soon.

I think it goes beyond this fandom, your right but it's everywhere, any fandom and general stuff. We do have good eggs here to but..that's why I stay away from forums and all sorts, just chat with friends on telegram, post up my art and comment on stuff.

Fandoms can become toxic and unpleasant, just look at popular fandoms like Sonic (fans bickering back and forth over which game was the best/worst) and Five Nights at Freddy's (Mostly consists of children and furries). Granted, where there are nice, good people, you're bound to come across that one bad egg.

High School never ends. These kids need a damn reality check, I already got mine long ago.

Behold the generation of BS lol. Though the fandom can be better, but if children start getting uppity then they need to be discipline cause quite frankly that's why kids are acting like dangerous fucks. However don't think all kids act the same cause there are those that act like adult then parents which is interesting.
