Noble Galactic's FA Journal
Ok,
I gave Ashtar the 3D printer to put together and set up. After hunting through many tutorials, and spliced instructions. The last thing to do is calibrate it and its done.
We also ordered a pre built 3D printer, that comes all set up from a company.
So by the end of the month. we SHOULD have 2 3D printers going, But at the bare min, 1 printer will be going.

The 3D printer is going to be used to print out fursuit head bases, claws, 3D eye sockets, noses, paw-pads, to begin with.
Then as we get more templates, customized stuff, etc etc etc. we will start focusing more on other items to 3D print.
such as; dog tags, small figures, charging bays, etc etc etc totally not listing a million possibilities lol but starting out small, and working out.
this is meant to increase quality, strength, time.
Approx it takes 3 days on average from start to finish to make a fursuit head.
printing out my head base can be done in the background, along with noses and teeth.
furring the head usually takes.... 3 to 10 hours depending on pattern and complexity, plus details.
so, more or less, I cut my time by 2/3rds ^^
My main 3D printer will be able to print any filament ranging from rubber to plastic to wood.
the secondary printer is only PLA compatible.

Interesting! Will you be able to make better ventilation in the heads? And is 3d printed plastic strong enough to be used for fursuit heads? Sounds pretty cool!
