Noble Galactic's FA Journal
its been 2 months and 10 days since we moved.... lots to talk about.
I moved back home a few years back. I Had a bad break up with my ex. My mother had a stroke and my parents needed help with the Mortgage, so eh, I stayed there for a bit. I met Ashtar, Fell inlove, Asked him to Marry me.
I had the lower part of the House, It was completely Reno'ed, but the lighting was shit.... so it had a very depressing feel... I was upgrading light as time went by... but eh.
I suffer from Depression and Anxiety, so in a darkish place, Trying to keep an positive attitude was taxing at times lol.
Living with Family is very...frustrated at times, very stressful at times and rewarding at times. Specially 2 dominant people in a house hold.... I head-butted a lot with my mother, we do not see eye to eye on a lot of things.... to put it mildly lol. but I don't want to get into that shit online, that's our business.
We gave notice on moving in Jan. Found a place by March, Moved in May 1st.
What triggered us moving was having friends over for the new years eve party. The day after the Party, i was walking around, cleaning up...
It was the first big party i held in a while, I released how much I missed that and ya. that was it.... well, also it was the building up stuff, of room, privacy, lighting.... it was a mix of everything now to think of it.....
(The lower part of the House was just under 500 square feet. Plus I had my work space of 280 square feet in the garage).
We looked around, all over the area. Brantford, Hamilton, Toronto, Burlington etc.
We decided the best place to Live right now would be Brantford. And out of all the places we looked at in Brantford. The Wellington Towers was the best place place for the buck.
$1465 for a 3 bedroom, (900 square feet). all inclusive, minus internet. We have a Gym, Pool, 24 Laundry, onsite ATM. 1 parking spot.
All other places in Brantford were either bed bugged, way to much, or didn't have both Pool and Gym. We decided to move at the right time to be honest. If we didn't see this place when we did, and put a deposit to hold it, when we did. We would have not gotten it, and we would have been on a bit of a wait list. Since there was 12 OTHER inquires into THIS apartment.
3 days before we moved, was the most memorable moment... I was up at 3 AM, I was packing up the living room. I was exhausted, I finished packing the coffee table stuff and my desk. I sat on the ground next to the box. Released that I was actually moving, and everything kind of hit me at once, I then broke down a little...... and then burst into a fit of laughter for 35 minutes solid >.>
The day we moved, all our moving plans got fucked, our movers bailed. our back up movers bailed.
So we got stuck having to higher people last minute to help us move. $715 dollars later. all our shit was in this place lol.
(I am also going to mention here that we also have a room mate, Mudball. Makes rent much more affordable, $488.33 (3 ways) is a lot better then $732.50 (2 ways)
It took me 1 Month to unpack fully and get organized/set up.
and Now at the 2 month part.... fully set it, feels like home lol.
I also get to see a a great view of the city and sky. ^^
Ashtar noticed a huge change in my personality, more chill, relaxed, less stressed.
My stress level at our old place was say... 6 out of 10 on average.
Here at our new place, its about 2 out of 10.
Am I happy where we live now? Unquestionably yes!
