You guys

god dammit, man
I know it's too early to declare failure. I know not a lot of people responded back. I know we got a few good submissions in... but that felt like a big rip off. Amber kept going with her comic, gave us smiles, talked to us, and now she's willing to get to know us even more.. To those of you I PMed, what happened? You missed it, man
I know a lot of you are scratching your heads, so here's the story.
missmab.com <-- I grew of on this comic. I really did. I'm sure a lot of you enjoyed Amber and her crazy antics as well. I lost count of the years she's shared her feelings with us. So when I saw here suddenly joining here, I couldn't believe it; an awesome webcomic artist suddenly becomes available on FA. I was so excited about what would happen next. So then I thought "let's give a little love back" and PMed all of her fans that I knew was on here, some of her personal friends, and a few guests. We were to flood her journal with gift art from each of us all at the same time. We launched our submissions today.. but about only 5 of use got through when I PMed you all. I know some of you couldn't make it, but there were so many others; even fellow web comic artists who knew her.
maybe the time period was too demanding? Maybe some of you thought I was some random person?
Maybe some of you think that throwing a big welcoming event for a wonderful person is a stupid idea? Or too much work?
k, well I guess it was foolish of me to just expect something so quickly. That's that, then.

FA+

those fools are to slow
The only thing I could've improved on was when I was the 4th person to view her page and 2nd to watch her, and didn't sound the alarm that "Awsum was happening". I wasn't sure it was her until I emailed and she emailed back, so I had to wait, and I didn't know if she wanted that much immediate attention. I still proudly fanboy her to the best of my ability though!
*thinks*... it WAS a while since I built fan art for her in Second Life at least, maybe I could try that again if I came up with a solid idea. The first/last thing I built in her honor (And for my sick interests) was a full "Tinman Abel" avatar, one of the unique characters that appeared in the "Wizard of Oz" wallpaper war.
BABBLE BABBLE BABBLE
I just wish I wasn't so blargh-throat sick that I can't draw anything non-fail. :U
*PAWS over your eyes*
I would've done something. Never got a note. :<
Oh well. *hug* Sorry it didn't work as well as you wished it to, but it seems like it was the thought that mattered and the thought was appreciated.
I still drew something, and will upload it today, but.
Next time, maybe a two day notice beforehand? That'd be nice.
yeah, the notice was sudden. Next time I'll keep that in mind
