COMMISSION SLOTS ARE FULL, HURRAH!
Been one HELL of a long time since I did this officially, eh guys? Either way, I'm overdue and ready to tackle this beast for good! Without further ado, let's get on with the old, familiar step-and-shuffle!
NOTES TO BE AWARE OF FOR THIS BATCH OF ORDERS:
I'm sure the most of you all know this by now, but my productivity speed over the last few months has been partially crippled (and spotty) due to living at my parents' home and dealing with familial distractions. Because of this, in all likelihood I'm still going to be a little slower than I would like, so please be mindful of that. However, I'll be doing my damnedest to stay productive at the opportunities I'm able, and will always be here to interact with and answer questions! Also, please do not count anything listed on my spillover/back burner queue in the current hours! That's just footnotes of things to keep track of and finish as I'm able, since the majority of which are set aside due to delays beyond my control.
PROTOCOL FOR THOSE LOOKING TO OBTAIN A SLOT:
- Successfully claim a slot when open via my journals (SPECIFY AMOUNT OF HOURS)
- Send me a note containing ALL relevant information, written and visual, of the characters in question. This includes descriptions, piece expectations/wants, and ALL absolutely “must have” elements.*
- Send payment to kdavis51[at]uco.edu via paypal WITH A NOTE ATTACHED of your FA username. If I don’t have the latter, it’s hard to tell who sent me what. Don’t be that person!* Seriously though, notes with usernames attached are SUPER ESSENTIAL to make pay identification easier, especially now that Paypal's UI looks like a crappy phone app.
*ALL NOTES AND PAYMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF A SLOT CLAIM UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE. Failure to do this will AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT your slot for that round. Please, if you cannot get me pay and information in this window, DON’T make a claim in the first place. I WILL BE ENFORCING THIS MORE AGGRESSIVELY THAN I USED TO, be warned! Exceptions are to be made purely at my discretion and only with clear, prior details given as to the circumstances.
SLOTS (STANDARD):
1.
Tivadu - 15 hours - PAID/INFO SENT
2.
Liontracks - GARBAGE DOODLE (-1 hour)
3.
emmacreatures 3 hours
4.
datastains - 5 hours for FUN REFS (reserved from Twitter)
5.
mistingwolf 2 hours - PAID/INFO SENT
6.
JonathanMereis 8-12 hours
7.
Fenric - 8 hours
etc
SPILLOVER QUEUE FROM BEFORE/side stuff (If I've missed ANYONE who paid time into me prior/etc, please let me know and I will correct immediately!)
1. Ref Sheet for Nullreff (to do when she's present) - 7-ish hours, I remember? - a form-fitting clothed side/front body view would help for suit silhouette ideas if we touch on them
2. Finish up Lionel's ladybug car cat... one day, + portrait, when there's feedback
3. Still some hangover time of Stripetail's for world bashing? Does he need a refund??? 3-4-ish hours of spillover from the last thing weren't all used up, but pre-paid
4. Next lesson for Fenric's kidlet? When to schedule it (weekend?)
5. Finish up THINGS for Rath at his leisure (WHAT UP NERD)
6. Take Bast's chosen piece to speedpaint final (swimming one, I think?) from sketch page
7. Finish up Iron's thing after he gets back from TFcon to pay more into it (currently finished up to pay amount + a bit more on portrait)
1, 2, 3, open! READY SET GO.
(0/40-ish hours left)
Aaand I think that should do it. I'm also likely going to be breaking standard protocol and be shunting the majority of payments immediately from my paypal to my bank due to some reasons, so in the unlikely event of a refund request (please note: I have not, to date, ever had to refund a customer in my art career, but I wanted to put this down anyway), the transfer back may take a couple of days to fulfill. As long as you're all cool with that, I think that's it!
Cheers, guys-- happy Wednesday. And don't be afraid to ask me any questions if you have 'em!

I'll take two hours, and then some... because it's me.
8 hours? Hasn't happened yet, but who knows? I've got homework for you in the form of a webcomic - how bad can that be? But it's a really good one, and once you've read it, you'll get the idea of where I'm going.
Two years of working together (only two? wow). But this'll be the best yet!
