Iiiit's that time of the month again, all! SO. I do still have a bit of leftover queue from my previous batch to be completed, which I'm going to be finishing up over the next week or so to completion with the usual priority over new stuff, BUT, I have confidence that I'll be able to chew through that pretty quick with my renewed working vigor and want to keep pushing forward for productivity (and bill paying) into February! LET'S DO THIS YEEEEAH.

NOTES TO BE AWARE OF FOR THIS BATCH OF ORDERS:

I'm going to be including a few pieces here that don't *technically* count towards the 50 open hours I'm doing here-- they're orders from long time friends and clients that have requested the slots over the last few days and I'll be plopping them at the top of the list for the sake of my own work keeping to start off with. Don't mind them! Beyond that, LET'S DO THIS.

PROTOCOL FOR THOSE LOOKING TO OBTAIN A SLOT:

- Successfully claim a slot when open via my journals (SPECIFY AMOUNT OF HOURS)
- Send me a note containing ALL relevant information, written and visual, of the characters in question. This includes descriptions, piece expectations/wants, and ALL absolutely “must have” elements.*
- Send payment to kdavis51[at]uco.edu via paypal WITH A NOTE ATTACHED of your FA username. If I don’t have the latter, it’s hard to tell who sent me what. Don’t be that person!* Seriously though, notes with usernames attached are SUPER ESSENTIAL to make pay identification easier, especially now that Paypal's UI looks like a crappy phone app.

*ALL NOTES AND PAYMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF A SLOT CLAIM UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE. Failure to do this will AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT your slot for that round. Please, if you cannot get me pay and information in this window, DON’T make a claim in the first place. I WILL BE ENFORCING THIS MORE AGGRESSIVELY THAN I USED TO, be warned! Those of you who follow my twitter Kalydali likely know this already, but I happened to acquire an iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and the Procreate app recently, and have been using headshot/bust commissions as a way to get more familiar with the program! I've been really enjoying these and see no reason to quit them any time soon; because of this, I'm leaving these slots open indefinitely for now, and taking as many as I get! They are 60 USD flat rate, due to taking two hours minimum, but I'm not charging by the hour proper while I still get used to things and am not super time efficient due to tech bumbling.

PERKS of this commission type include a FREE time lapse of your piece being created ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l5.....ew?usp=sharing ), a Procreate only final ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/18A.....ew?usp=sharing ) and a fully touched up version through Photoshop later ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RL.....ew?usp=sharing -- there's also a full size version I add as well!) for your trouble. I may or may not imply backdrop elements, but I typically do flat colored backgrounds and give them proper texture in the final PS pass. I've been a little more spotty on these since I've moved BUT I'd like to pick through at least one or two per week to rest my hand since chilling with my iPad seems to help combat wrist strain.

7. Patch Lil's last piece to replace with SUPERIOR CHARACTER (about 2h total expected)

I THINK that does it for everything! If by some chance I've missed a piece please tell me and I'll correct myself immediately! I'll be doing my level best to chew through this in its entirety before taking on any more hours, too; the looming reality of bills for February just made it relevant to line up in advance.
