ARTIST BEWARE: MEADOW_THE_DEERLING

If the user http://www.furaffinity.net/user/meadowthedeerling/ contacts you for a commission or bids on a YCH, think about accepting the commission twice. He/she might demand a chargeback after receiving the completed commission.
My case:
I offered the Pokémon YCH and the user (I call her/him Meadow from now on) bid on the Blue Slot and won with 45€.
I asked for the PayPal and email address via note which Meadow provided.
I showed her the WIP image of her character and she liked the picture a lot. "I think it's perfect!" was Meadows response. She paid the invoice via PayPal and I finished the picture. A few days after sending the completed commission to Meadow, I got the message from PayPal that the payment has been unapproved. I first thought that it must be a mistake and contacted her twice via note. She read the notes, but never answered me. So I send PayPal screenshots of our email conversation, as demanded by them and I contacted them by phone as well.
Today I got the message from PayPal that the buyer won the case and they encourage me to get in contact with my client....
I will also send a post to the artists-beware.livejournal
So please be careful…

It feels like she stole, since she demanded the money back after she received the finished commission... :(
very sorry for you :/
I'm talking to some fellow artists about such occasions...
I'd be more than happy if everything would turn out just fine and it's just a mistake by the bank or something. But the fact that she doesn't answer my notes...it just lets me lose hope...
*big warm and fluffy hug of comfort*
*hugs back*
Thanks for mentioning it!
