Good news and bad news.

Right, I'm going to go ahead and get the bad news out of the way.
It's chronic epididymitis. Meaning, doctor doesn't know why it's inflamed or what caused it, etc. So it's something I'm likely to be dealing with for the rest of my life.
The good news is that there's at least a small glimmer of hope, in that I've been feeling somewhat better lately. They're less swollen, but still tender and in pain, so I'm just hoping it does go away completely. I just want to feel normal again.
Going to try making some new things soon, I'm tired of letting this keep me down for so long.

Stay strong
I hope it's not as you fear, in terms of duration.
Being sore down there for life would be brutal.
There's at least some ways out, like nerve blocks (which is probably going to be what happens in a few weeks if this still persists), so it's not entirely hopeless, but even then I'd have to do it every few months or so. Just a shit situation all-around, really.
It works, but if he gets pushed suddenly, it'll trigger the pain immediately.
Let's hope yours will work no matter what stimulates it.
Yeah, here's hoping it works if it comes to it.
Hope you feel better
But thanks for the tips. So far I've found laying on my side with a pillow between the thighs helps a lot most times. Maybe once I've let my body recover from cipro/levofloxican I'll ask about antibiotics again, though they'll probably turn it down since they didn't find any infection.
