Makes me wish that the UK Fleetway comics had as long a run as the US Archie ones. I think it was only in recent years that some of the Waterstones stores here sold some of the US collected stories. If we had those ones here growing up, I know I would have collected the hell out of em.

Sonic was the longest-running comic in the US. Weird to think of.

Not as a continuous series. It's more of a collection of special-issues, short runs, re-dos, do-overs, reboots, renumbers, alternate universes, and Swiss cheese.

i am hoping some of the artists continue it via webcomic like the sonic the comic guys did, but i don't think it'll actually happen :c

Well that's depressing.

Damn dude, and the quality was just so great despite all of the lawsuit shit. At least it didn't end smack dab in the middle of an important story arc, just retellings of the classic games.

I loved how the quality of the art has improved in recent years, which makes this a sad affair, but I can only hope that this is for the best. Going for an Unleashed adaptation after the Penders purge was a big mistake.
