So far I only had one bad experience with an artist for a commission
I'm still waiting for an for them to post something very simple with little details
My question to you, what's the longest you have to wait ?
I waited three weeks to get my and next one already been 3wks as well
And possibly longer....

Trade? I've waited an entire year at least once, haha...
On average it depends on the artist, but I think I would expect 2-4 weeks is reasonable.
Longer is usually OK if there's WiP(s).
Sometimes I find artists that go from idea to payment to completion in a few hours!
