We're currently at...3 out of...a LOT finished for these. But since werewolves, hellhounds, and naga are prevalent in the Chemical Attraction universe, I decided I'll stop with those until the sequel and continue the "Universal' series at a later time when other creatures are introduced.
Let's get into it.
--Naga are born as full reptilian creatures and snakes. Babies, however, are NOT born with arms. Think of a reverse tadpole. As the naga ages, the arms will develop.
--All naga have a 'hood'. However, depending on gender and the location of birth, the hood will change shapes, sizes, colors, and even amounts. Females will always have small hoods will males will have large, display-like hoods.
--Hoods generally follow 5 different shapes depending on the location of birth.
Forest: heart, desert: butterfly, oceanic: finned, volcanic: triangle, arctic: 8-shape
--Even if two different 'location' naga were to give birth, the baby will have a hood of wherever it was born. This holds true for two of the same location naga; if two forests mated and the mother gave birth in an oceanic region, the babies would have shark-fin hoods
--Naga babies are born from eggs which hatch after around 4-5 months. Mothers can choose to bury their young in sand/dirt or surround them with their coils until they hatch. Mothers can lay up to 200 eggs in one sitting though most become slugs and don't hatch. Roughly 10% of eggs hatch with a baby being born.
--Naga eggs that don't hatch are delicacies for many species due to their size and are used often in magic sales and spells. Naga eggs, however, don't generally hold magical properties unless the egg is fertilized.
--Despite being snake-like in appearance, naga actually have a weirdly-shaped head due to being the last remnants of dragons.
--All naga transform and have a snake-like body but, if control is tight enough, some naga can change so their torso and above is still their human form. Naga have found that this transformation doesn't drain them as quickly and some naga can stay like that for weeks as opposed to the full transformation, which drains in mere minutes.
--Naga have a strict carnivorous diet when in snake form but can eat relatively anything in human form. However, they have some dislike for cold things like ice cream but adore spicy foods. This doesn't hold true for all naga but most.
--Naga generally follow snake patterns and morphs, with some being leucistic, albino, piebald, melanistic, and even scaleless. Most naga follow a 'normal' ball python-like pattern, and others generally have more rare patterns. However, these patterns are dictated by the parents and if there are any hypo genes in the mix.
--Naga hoods are generally more like elephant ears rather than cobra in nature, with the hoods flopping down their neck and shoulders if they're long enough. females don't generally have the 'flop' since their hoods are 1/3 the size of males.
--All naga have natural genitals that are found about a foot away from the tail tip. These are noticeable when the snake shows its belly or bottom of its tail as the scales appear different towards the genitals and tail tip.
--Male naga, much like snakes, have two penises, called a hemipenis. Females have one large uterus that, much like in real snakes, remains dormant and shrunken until the female is ovulating.
--Ovulating naga female tend to flit around from partner to partner, getting as many genetics as they can while they're pregnant. Naga sex is quite simple, where the male will enter the female and simply trickle his seed in slowly over a few minutes or hours. Because this doesn't provide much stimulus, males naga will often massage, kiss, nibble, and lick the female all over until the copulation ends.
--Once a naga female is pregnant, she'll remain in her half-snake form until she's ready to give birth. Most females will find a cooler spot and rest out for weeks, the male bringing her food until she lays her eggs.
--All naga have the ability of mild mind control and don't use it outside of combat or dispersing conflict. This ability does not work on other naga.
--Despite being born in other locations, all naga can breathe underwater. They cannot do this forever, but it lasts around 5-10 minutes before the naga can longer filter water to oxygen. Oceanic naga can triple this time to about 30 minutes to an hour max under conditions.
--All naga have the ability of venoms. They can distribute it from their fangs and nails. This venom can kill smaller creatures and paralyzes larger ones. It works instantly and numbs the victim completely. Breathing and eye functions are still possible, but the victim is often unable to speak. This doesn't hold true for creatures like werewolves who speak telepathically when they're transformed.
--Most naga are constrictors by nature and prefer to crush things between their coils. It's mostly an instinctual thing and happens when they're scared or enraged.
--Despite being the larges Immortals outside of gods, Naga are surprisingly docile and would rather flee than fight. This is where their size comes into play as they try to intimidate and cause the other to back down.
--Though docile, males can still fight for females, something that descended down from their dragon ancestors. Males will stretch their hoods out as wide as possible, lowering their heads and showing their head stamps (the pattern on their head and hood backside). They'll then puff up, flatten their jaws and hiss, showing their fangs. Most males will even flex their arms or bodies in an attempt to show more superior and strong to the other.
--Most males don't resort to fighting but they can if things escalate. Because naga are so sturdy, fangs and venom won't work, and they instead resort to screeching. This 'screech' is a loud, deep sound that echoes and rumbles. Most naga do this as close to their victim as possible to hopefully rupture an organ or shatter a bone. If all else fails, naga will combine this with their heads, smashing skulls repeatedly until one male backs down.
--Female naga are smaller than males and generally are around 1/3 of a male's size. Sizes range for all species between 10 and 50 feet, with 10 being a relatively normal size and 50 being ancient and massive. Naga have shrunk over the years slightly but can still boast large sizes.
--All naga swallow their prey whole and this can take a while depending on the size of the meal. A large meal can last about 10 days to 30 or so, with a smaller meal lasting around 3-7. Obviously, this doesn't apply to human form.
--Naga scales are incredibly strong and are resistant to several powerful things. Swords, acids, fires, and bludgeons barely dent them. A naga's diet and upkeep can weaken the scales considerably and a scarred naga is often a naga who lost a lost of fights from being weak. These scales can be used for chainmail, shields, and even water-proof book pages.
--Naga do not mate for life and can be found with several partners over time. They are not considered promiscuous but rather just not intrigued with settling down. It's not uncommon for a naga to run out of fingers and toes to count on when remembering past flings. However, naga only mate to make babies and the more the genes are dispersed, the better chance of an offspring surviving from different broods.
--Much like dragons, naga are immune to fire and in some rare cases, some naga can breathe it themselves. These naga have all but disappeared, only legends remain of them.
--Naga generally have a round pupil that can become slit-like when hunting, in dim lights or when fighting. However, it's not uncommon for naga to have all sorts of shapes of pupils.
--Naga hood upkeep is so important that all headstamps are worshipped. The longer a naga lives, the more unique and complex the pattern becomes. Most naga start out with a 'hoop' that starts from the back all the way up to the front of the head.
--Despite their scary appearance, most naga are relatively curious and easily frightened. This makes their hoods splay open or even their tail tips start to quiver, similarly to a rattlesnake's tail.
--Due to their sluggish nature, naga are suited for sitting jobs and doing little to nothing for hours on end without realizing. This makes them excellent scholars and collegiates.
--Naga can die by decapitation, magic, or strong, durable weaponry usually forged by other Immortals. When a snake dies, they instantly coil up and hide their heads (if they still have it), their body growing hard and cold within seconds. These naga are tough as stone and cannot be destroyed, skinned, or used as food. However, naga funerals are intense and the naga all get together to soak their comrades body in their own venoms. Though the scales are resitant to it, a mixture of dozens of types of toxins can slowly dissolve the creature over time, usually within a day or two.
--Naga shed much like snakes do and they get GRUMPY during this process, even in human form. They can be seen pacing, itching, rubbing, and even taking lots of showers, going for swims, and drinking lots of fluids. When the shedding comes, the naga grows dark, their eyes become pure white or bluish-grey and they pretty much sit around until their skin is ready. Some naga will even get together in a cave or large location to shed together, using each other's flaky scales to help slough off their own.
--Naga sheds are generally one long, masisve piece and these scales can be used in medicines, for clothing, and magical spells. Most naga will actually take their scales and feed them to their young, who can gain nutrients from the shed scales. On top of this, having the scales be devoured also eliminates any trace of a naga being there.
--Naga used to be guardians to the werewolves, though this changed when Lord Chitsume was locked away. Most naga fled, due to not having protection of their own, and others were afraid to be branded a traitor when their wolf-lord lost control. They are generally solitary beings now and though they get together to mate, most naga would rather be left to their own devices.

I'm quite impressed with all this info about Nagas, wonderful
