Writing- Update
As many of you readers are sure to have noticed, I have not been doing a good job with keeping to the schedule that I had previously ascribed myself to. I have no excuses for you, things have simply not been going the way I had planned, and as such writing has been harder for me to do, if I can do it at all. However, I want to say that I am writing, things are just coming along slowly. This is in part due to the fact that I have a lot of projects that I'm working on, and all of those are being put in the back seat while I work on a commission. Because of these various delays, I have announcements to make.
First off, going back on what I said in my previous journal, A Rude Awakening will continue to be posted, at least up to chapter five. I've thought long and hard about this, and with more and more interest in where the story is going becoming apparent, I've decided to continue posting it for a while longer. I intend to post the next chapter when I finish my current commission.
Second, commissions. They are something I do intend to take eventually, but for now they are close and private. This is because I need to decide what my limits are, as well as come up with terms of service and a modus operandi that I find satisfactory, though I think I'm happy with the one I have currently. Eventually, after I've fattened my gallery with more examples of my work, I do intend to open a patreon. On it, I'll post WIPs, shorts such as Jury of Owls that otherwise would not be posted, as well as perform raffles for patrons' characters to take part in a story. In the meantime, based on feedback, I may open a ko-fi.
Finally, school will be starting again within two weeks. Because of this and my subpar grades from last semester, writing will slow down even more. This does not mean I will not write, but that I will attempt to actually focus on my schoolwork. As an upper-class English major where all of my classes will consist of papers and reports of varying degree, I can either focus on getting those done or writing for myself. I cannot afford to ignore my responsibilities.

I'm sorry you've had writing difficulties. Sometimes you can't control these things sadly :o

OP
It's been unfortunate, but it happens. On top of that, life's been keeping me busy with various game releases and attempts to start or end relationships, so.
