I've used it for a while. It's good as a supplementary thing, but from my experience it's full of scammers or folks with no sense of social/business etiquette.

Won a couple auctions, had the sellers tell me to send money, I send it, they vanish for months. One time I asked the seller if they had a time frame for completion and delivery and they blew up at me. Just a sour experience most of the time.

I bid on a few auctions there, although I generally knew the artists who were using it. It's a great place for artists to use if they're trying to auction a piece cross-platform (ie, DA and Tumblr and FA at the same time). The only issues I had with it are that the artists may not always pay attention to it and unless you're dealing with people you know it's a gamble on when you get the art and (in the event of a multi-person YCH) who you wind up sharing the image with.

may not always pay attention to it.. dang. Honestly I can't imagine auctioning a design/YCH slot/whatever and not checking the auction obsessively lmfao. Maybe that's just because I don't do them very often though!

I've used it from the bidding side of things, and I think I prefer it over the comment based system we tend to use on FA. Plus you get email notifications telling you that you've been outbid (kind of like eBay) which are useful when I can't get on FA.

I can’t speak as a buyer, but as an artist, using this website was wonderful for me. Almost no one ever dropped, everyone I spoke with was respectful, and using this site got me enough money to live when I was in the edge of homelessness years ago. Very few negative experiences.

If you’re still interested in it as an artist I’d recommend it. It still does me well personally.

If you’re responsive to buyers and DO NOT LOWBALL YOURSELF (seriously the only assholes I ever got we’re trying to spend less the $10 on my artwork) then you should do just fine!

I've recently discovered it and was really wondering weather it was a sketchy place or not to sell adopts and such on, since I've been trying to expand where I advertise and sell at. Seeing the other comments above saying it's pretty bad was worrying, but your comment helped a ton because it's more recent! Glad to see that the site got better. Thanks!

Sites pretty sketchy Ive won auctions and sent the money then nothing for months. I then do a chargeback and the artist suddenly appears with a rough sketch its taken them 5 minutes to do and then report me to mods.

Mods ban your account and hold your art you've paid for to randsom until you pay the artist for the sketch they were meant to do months ago.

After the 3rd time I'm done with that site. I wouldn't go near it even if you paid me.
