The loss of a Life.
Just received some saddening news. My brothers friend/my-neighbor-in-highshcool/was-almost-my-friend-for-a-bit-and-then-he-picked-on-me, has passed away. Turns out it was a fatal car accident. He hydroplaned off the road. Am I surprised? Not at all. The kid didn't know how to drive. He has totaled his truck at least once, I do believe twice before. And in perfect weather conditions. He was a young kid in the country with a truck and thought he was cool, tearing up and down roads. Even when he'd been in accidents before it seemed he never learned. Was he driving poorly when he died? Who knows. But with his track record I wouldn't be surprised.
Still though, its a sad day. And I feel very horrible for his mother. She is currently on vacation in another state and cannot get home at this moment. Meanwhile receiving news that her son is dead. I cannot imagine how much she is going through right now. I do like his mother, she is a great person and works as head of the post office in town. My heart goes out to her.
I will probably be doing some sort of commissions to help raise funds. They are trying to raise money for funeral expenses and for the ability to fly his body back to Missouri where they are originally from (and where his mother is now) to bury him.
The gofundme link is below. If you feel like you would like to donate something to their cause. Otherwise, you can PM me about a commission where the funds would go directly to them.

Keep your kids safe guys and please, I know you might think its fun to show off and act like some big hot shot tearing up and down the roads. But its not funny, you aren't impressing anyone. Drive responsibly.
If your child is driving irresponsibly, don't just warn them. Take away their car until they learn. This kid was allowed to continue driving daily after his accidents, because his mom didn't wanna drive him places and he didn't want to take the bus to school. He never learned, and he paid the ultimate price.
Rest In Peace, Kyle.

I'm sorry to hear this, it's kind of you to memorialize him and try to help out. I would like to help financially but I'm in a bit of a precarious financial situation. Good luck and I hope he's at peace now, and comfort to his loved ones and you and everyone affected <3
