Feelings and such (Life update?)

Hey guys just sort of a small update I guess???
I've been updating sort of frequently, but I don't really post journals often. So I figured I'd sort of keep people up to date. I've been busy doing commissions and such for people, but now I am at a good point where I am only doing one. However, my part time job has not been doing well of paying me and it's sort of taking a toll right now, because of some news I got recently.
My friend, (or someone I'd like to think more than that) contacted me a bit ago and broke the news that he has been diagnosed with Leukemia. It was a really hard thing to hear, but I know it's harder on him. He's not doing well, and I knew that I needed to see him because this may be my last chance. Luckily he's hospitalized in the same state, but it's still far. So I was fortunate enough to have Tam accompany me, and have a few friends house her and I.
So to help pay my up there since my hours have been cut recently, I'm doing some 30 USD theme commissions. I'll put the link in when it goes up. I'm doing everything I can to help him, there's not much I can do, so I just need to be there for him emotionally.

i've experienced having a loved one face a form of cancer in my life too, it's tough, it can really be a dark cloud over your daily life for quite a while..
but of course im sure your situation differs from mine due to the contexts. but anyways, I would love to help you if I can =)
I'll be making an update journal soon! He's made a good turn around and is doing better!
