It is, except it's sweeter then honeydew and has more juices. My first time eating one was a rather big surprise when cutting it kinda made a little lack on the table XD

I simply couldn't resist making that reference! The real answer for me too would include kiwi, blueberry for sure, maybe cherry. It could be that I'm weird for liking the taste of artificial grape and artificial banana over the taste of their real equivalents.

My first exposure to artificial banana was something called "Superman Ice Cream" at an ice cream shop where I lived from ages 2 to 4. As a 4-year-old I loved the hell out of Superman, and the ice cream was (in a pleasant way) like nothing else I had tasted before then. The tubs had lots of red and especially blue food coloring, of course, but to me at the time it might as well have been magical.

I understand that! There are things I loved as a kid that people didn't usually like. I used to eat green tomatoes off the vine! XD

When I was little, the kid-oriented media of the time (I'm looking right at you, Nickelodeon!) was trying to brainwash its audience toward/against certain things, such as saying meatloaf and brussel sprouts and anchovies were all gross. Since I'd never had them, I wanted to form my own opinions, so I made requests to my folks. From there, I learned that I loved my mother's own meatloaf recipe and still like it, anchovies on my pizza were not for me either at 6 years old (although they would be from 14 on), and brussels would become a favorite staple of Thanksgiving Dinner. If anything, my tastes moved away from brussel sprouts only after high school, for some reason
