Back to suit making + Renovating
Hey everyone, since AC my roommate and I have been moving into a new house and renovating it. Finially have most of our room finished, its about 250sqft, which is so far the biggest room we've lived in. Definitely a step up from when i first moved in with him in a 10x10 ft room, then a 1 bedroom apt with 4 people.... we now got a much bigger room to ourselves again! We our now in a 2 story house with a friend of ours, i believe 3/4 bedrooms.
Anyway, after tearing out one wall and some of a second due to water damage, tore up the carpet and tiles underneath too, we had to replace the furring strips and drylock the wall. Instillation, drywall, mudding and sanding is all done! Right now we have primmer up and will be painting once we get some more money, as well as the new flooring, so concrete floor till then. Most of our stuff is in our room, been halling a lot of stuff here, many trips with the shortbed pickup truck that we have. But soon we will be done, with our room that is. Renovating the entire house, next stop is the kitchen! Ive attached some progress photos on my other social media platforms (Amino and Facebook Page @NekoRaveWolf)
But great news!! My desk just came in the mail!!! That means i can set up my sewing machine and start on suits again! Which is great, i have one suit im trying to finish by the end of August, once i get all the changes in and im starting one next week. Should be knocking them out more by the end of September when hopefully i have my work space cleared out and set up in the basement. Im so excited to get everything settled and ready to go!
To add to that, i might start drawing again!!! So that means i can open commissions again ^^ with our new roommate dragging us to FursonaCon in Virginia in Oct, i might do a couple pieces for the Art Auction. So if you are going, keep an eye out for some exclusive original work from me. I'll probably have a panel in the art gallery for FWA in Atlanta in May as well.
