My cat was hit by a car
Good news: her only serious injury seems to be a sacroiliac subluxation, which basically means that part of her pelvis that attaches to the spine via ligaments and muscles is "loose" and there may be associated fractures, but it's something that should heal on its own without surgery.
Bad news: it happened right when I was rushing to get things submitted for the county fair, and I'm broke as shit, so it also kind of severely fucked up my schedule. We also couldn't afford to get x-rays done, so the vet diagnosed my cat with a manual exam and gave her pain meds. She seems like everything's working okay and she's just in pain, so there probably isn't internal damage or nerve damage, but I wish I'd been able to do more.
If you'd like to donate, here's a fundraiser in case she does need additional care:
https://www.youcaring.com/kalithecat-895948
And if you'd rather commission, I'll put up a post about that in a couple of days, once I've gotten some other things out of the way and finished the stuff in the queue. You're free to inquire in the meantime.
