Haruo Nakajima, the man who wore the Godzilla suit for the first 12 Godzilla movies, has passed away at the age of 88.

As disheartening as this news is, I am filled with so many cherished memories of watching these movies on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon during my youth (and before the Internet was a thing), and loving every cheesy aspect of them.
