Voice Actor Portfolio - GamiCross

I'm trying to figure out how to create myself a portfolio to show how proficient I am in voice acting... Here's a short sample of what I'm capable of...
> The Omnigeddon Pathfinder Campaign
Drunk Raza & Zicaw
Scouting the Red Dragon Caves
Eddie Mome The Soybien Spy
Eddie Mome's Magic Show 01
Eddie Mome's Magic Show 02
> Night in the Woods
NITW - Intro
NITW - Gregg's Naked Adventures
> Random
The Stand King's Bizarre Adventure
Gami - Otterly Horrible
GENERAL VOICE EXPO
And yes, while my leg is healing and I'm out of a job, I'm more than willing to do any voice work for any project provided it gives me a means of paying bills.

You have hella talents.
Do the ironic and get a cameo in one of TFS's works so you can say you cameo'd for Takahata. Do iiiiiiiit.
I also miss the Idiot Box work you did with BoSchitt. Do you do your own videos somewhere?
Being alone and not having focus makes me feel the depression, but any time I'm around people who know me seems to rebuild my mood. This is why I devoted myself so much to studying neurology - I wanted to know how to make my mind feel happiness like I had access to the console commands to my brain. Learn the chemistry, learn the actions and reactions, learn your own flaws... That 3rd step is the hardest.
But if a long-in-work plan works in November... No one will stop me from being a voice actor and being happy
I'd check his website out for a couple tips on getting your voice out there~

otherwise, sounds good, above par. Something like Don Bluth ought to pick you up. just stay away from typical cartoon network, saturday morning crap. you may think it's an entry, but it's a swamp you'll never get out of.
in general.... you have to move and live where the industry is. Dallas, etc.
I imagine my characters with these.

The thing about British accents.... is that some people can pick out the exact region you're doing, and it destroys the image if you "jump" around from region to region... Bristol, London, easily confusing Wales, Irish and Scotch.
same thing with rural American, i can tell if someone's jumping between Texan, Appalachian, or confusing Alabama with "African vernacular". some people are real picky and point it out. real dicey
Like yourself, I can nail the head on impressions almost to the 't' (though I'll admit I desperately need to work on improv...), and this can definitely help you on certain projects, but if I've learned anything is that most talent seekers are looking for something original, not impersonations. I swear I'm not trying to bash you down! Chances are you probably already know all of this, but it's just the hard facts that I've learned while doing research on what I want to do that will make me feel accomplished.
It was also mentioned before that for a proper 'demo reel', you want to have a recording of 40 seconds to a minute show casing what you can do. Go too long and the people you're trying to impress might get bored or think you're putting too much on certain voices. They usually want maybe 10 seconds per voice and no more.
I hope this helps!
Got any examples of demo reels?
A great one I found actually came from Lanipator himself.

I've also heard several from big time VAs. One that sticks out the most was from Kevin Michael Richardson. Not up on YT, but on a different website... It was some time ago, but I'm pretty sure a quick google search can pull up many that you can draw inspiration from. Like Lani did, they say it's great to add some background music to add some flare and show you know your way around editing.
It's gonna be hard to make it in the big leagues because of the many sacrifices. But you will succeed.
Heed what everyone's telling you on this VA Biz to great detail and Just take it one step, buddy.
Good Luck and Stay Burnin', with invigoration!
