Any drawing tips and advice?
I have never been much of an artist and I honestly never really tried to draw much despite enjoying the odd doodle until recently.
So basically I want some advice on what to improve. Be honest what stands out as bad in my drawings? What needs work? Any specific advice?
Do you know of any good tutorials.
One issue I feel I am specifically bad at is shading, which I suppose just takes practice.. but any advice on this is appreciated.
While I do it for fun more than anything, I would like to try and improve some.
This was totally not brought on by the fact e621 deleted some uploads I did for lack of quality <.<.
But yis, be honest I won't be offended I promise ^^. Rip me to shreds xD.

the best way to learn is drawing from life! especially shading, just try different objects with different light sources.
glitch's guide to color is very useful! pages 22-27 give an explanation of shading: http://stuff.veekun.com/pkcolor/
here is a shading guide by tamberella, one of my inspirations: https://tamberella.deviantart.com/a.....rial-251104611
good luck!
Firstly, for anatomy and figure drawing (human or feral figures, all the concepts transfer over) there is a youtube series by Proko https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNi.....IDS--P9g3TdwOM
This series goes over the basics of drawing the human body, starting from just capturing the movement to the shapes of the body and basic anatomy. To be honest where you're at isn't bad, you have a good grasp of anatomy and perspective already, but this will be helpful in taking this further.
Second for shading, I recommend another series by Sycra. He covers the very basics of shadows to some pretty advanced stuff in the later episodes. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?li.....3rLZWqScFTRhtv
He also has a video on choosing colors and choosing what colors to shade with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kQllLy_X4I
Proko and Sycra and where I learned a lot from. Those two combined have hundreds of videos, and both complement each other very well, even if they talk about the same subject its worth watching both of them if you have the time!
As far as getting better? Heh unfortunately can't say more than keep practicing
There's also 8ch.net/loomis/ if you need art help.
