I was told that Cuntboy is a horrible word.
Despite the fact that I haven't used that as a Tag for my character in .. like years..
I've decided that as your King that cuntboys will now be referred to as the "Penetratively Challenged"
So I have spoken...
So it shall be..
*licks his eyeball*
On a serious note. For those who are upset when someone refers to your trans/flat female/ftm/mtf/ character as a Cboy during a personal conversation. Correct the person and move on. If they are a douche about it, block em.
Terms like Herm/Dickgirl/Cuntboy are more or less blanket terms used for the sake of categorizing and Identifying porn. These systems do not, and realistically will never take into account what you identify as or whatever special label you've come up for yourself. When it comes to art galleries and what not, porn especially, you are literally the sum or lack of your parts that people can visually see.

But yeah i'm familiar with that one. It amuses me
I understand Trans-gendered people have a hard enough time with hormones, their body, and society making a joke of them and being hard on them, but not everything has to offend you.
Do I take offense to the cuntboy term.. naw. From a Categorization I understand it completely.
I'm not trans and I've always disliked the word "cuntboy." I reserve use of the word "cunt" only when I'm really mad at something and all my other swear words just don't seem to cut it. It just doesn't seem a fitting word for me to use on a beautiful boy with a nice vulva.
I just hate when people get upset when I use the wrong pronouns, even if I had no idea beforehand what they themselves wanted to be called. Okay, stop rigging the board... I always try to do my best to be kind and not insult transgendered people and friends but somehow I do anyway for tiny shit that I wouldn't even think could bother someone; that's what I mean when I say they're insulted too much.
Don't get me wrong though, people getting insulted you called them by the wrong pronouns when what they preferred wasn't obvious or they haven't told you is ridiculous. There has to be understanding on both sides, including the side calling for so much of it so frequently.
What gets me the most is that gender roles were different even 200 years ago, let alone back during the Classical Era in Ancient Greece, which Western society still studies today. Yet the possibility of things not being the same everywhere or for everyone is still such a foreign concept...
Can you lick your eyeball again ?
Jk, but for real people are dumb xD
Many of us understand the context of calling someone a CUNT in a harsh and vulgar manner.
Some also understand the context of calling something a Cuntboy in the manner of identifying it visually
There are understandable differences in the context of how the word is applied in both situations.
Just because the word Cunt is offensive in one context doesn't mean it shall be forever offensive in every context and usage of the word regardless
Here in the UK, ANYONE can be a cunt =D
As stated they are blanket terms, they in themselves are not offensive, demeaning or even lower or cheapen anyone's identity. And the words literally are used to identify those people.
I guess you can argue the word "Cunt" in Cuntboi, but its literally used to identify a male with a Vagina. If thats how the word is used...why is it offensive or how does it cheapen someones identity and such?
Hell, I think being called a Cis-Gender, and saying I have Privilege is more offensive then calling an Effeminate Man with breasts a Shemale.
Eh, maybe Im just an old-Geyser who isn't with the times
EVERYTHING is offensive. BRUSSELS SPROUTS are offensive!
Just because you're goddamn offended doesn't mean you're somehow in the right! Jesus Horatio Cuntboy-loving Christ on a bike...
Phallic oppression! Come see the violence inherent in the system!
On a more serious note, sometimes people need to just... step back, take a moment to breath, and think.
"Is what I'm about to say something that other people may or may not point out as silly?"
regardless I respect that that's how they feel and I haven't ever used those words so it works out.
For me though, tbh I don't mind those words... I might even like them, in some situations?
Speaking as someone who is ftm, with a body type to match what ive seen those terms used on,
regardless of intent it does make me feel better knowing people ARE interested in my body type and
dont automatically view me as female. But I might not know enough about all this... >>;
to some it's horrifically complicated
what it comes down to is you do you and don't be an asshole about it!
I've literally been blocked by artists whom i've never interacted with because my character is a Cboy
i dont use the term on any one elses characters unless they do so themselves
but i also pretty much avoid talking to people anymore, despite my inner turmoil of wanting to socialize with people, but such is life in the furry fandom
its all memes and drama
vagman?
idk
Taco-Enhanced Person
but I still call that heavy metal round thing in the street a Personhole Cover
I do have a few characters that are men with vaginas. I don't know what term is acceptable since, like I just said, every word is offensive. Someone right now is offended by me using the words men and vagina.
Why did you stop tagging your character like that though? Was it just out of the blue?
kidding, serious note. People need to stop getting very easily offended of words. Words are words. I mean, has people forgotten the term "sticks and stones"? >:V If it bothers them so much, JUST PRESS THE BUTTON...block button. Easily solved. *shrugs* no need to cry about it.
In more ways than one XD
I mean, I get that the term isn't the most... professional? Intersex Male sounds better and less childish. but for someone to go off on you because of dumb shit is just, well, dumb.
However, I think that "Penetratively Challenged" is incorrect. I don't see you struggling with penetration, it's just reversed. :v
I mean dickgirl seems completely accepted everywhere
Why not allow the opposite?
Or should we call them pussyboys
Will be a tad confusing for feline characters XD
Seriously.... If it offends you... Calm conversations do wonders indeed ^^
*braces myself for the flood*
I mean fuck... we are apart of a fandom that got waaaaay to into looney toons and stuff while getting our rocks off to fictional characters like Renamon and Krystal for deeks sake.
Are you alive? yes. Are you currently occupying this place? Yes. Congratulations, you are a denizen.
Now ca we please move on and stop getting so hung up on what someone has or has not between their legs?
And the answer is always typically "I dunno!... I just know I don't like what YOU use."
These folks are more than happy to complain about something, yet reluctant to offer a solution .
Some folks need to not let their panties get into a bunch and study the word "context" again and again.
It's common sense. The very first time someone used the term cuntboy on my character my first thought was "a guy with a vagina... makes sense" not "You called me a new word that has a bad word in it ! OMG YOU OFFENSIVE SHIT"
It's almost as if using words in different ways has different effects.
But I don't really mind it. I'm just neutral to the whole thing :x
I mean I know that some words are defenitely a bad choise, like the N word in general but seriously. If in a regular conversation you speak about it than thats that and only that. Many people use jew or gay as an insult to describe people they dont like. but jew and gay is not an insult just because I said it :(
some people need to grow some skin
I understand its use for categorization in the porn world, and that it should absolutely never be used to describe a transgender person. I just prefer to use other words because that one in particular just doesn't sound nice. Every time I've heard/seen it used, I can't help but think the descriptor is using it to slander someone.
I'm Trans, never planning on transitioning, and I actually created a character specifically to be a cuntboy, as I think that's what I really identify as, although I do generally use "Vagentleman" instead. either way, yes, it's a porn term, get over it.
Pretty soon im gonna offend people when i scree
dickgirls and cuntboys are pointless and sometimes infuriating words that have no real use.
Poke me there if you want them. :P
Now... where's janarr?!!!!
Personally, as long as the people aren't being jerks about it, then it's fine. =D
Also, I just recently got some hot cocoa powder as a... few months late birthday present, and it's supposed to be extremely rich, creamy, and delicious. And I instantly thought of you, so..
*offers a mug*
*Licks drayks eye too, and nose, and everywhere*
All hail the king
Either way, I do think it's a personal-preference thing for both sides. Not really a discussion I want to dive headfirst into; I'm just wading into the metaphorical shallow end and I'd very much like to stay there if possible.
(By the way, your explanation on why you made your character/fursona a vagentleman was absolutely brilliant! I have to admit, I never thought that hard about the intersex-male characters I have - only that I really like the aesthetics of chaps with gaps. ...Sorry, that one was awful.)
how'd you even come across this journal ... it's buried so far deep!
