*hurrrr hurrrrrs soft and deep, but blushing slightly at the fact that there probably aren't enough weights in the gym to really test, I trot forward and step through the extra-wide door. We sign in and head to the free weight room, looking around. Fortunately, there aren't many other furs around*

As we get to the free weights, I can't help but notice you are a bit concerned about something. I can see the slight blush in your face. Padding over slowly, I drape my strong arm over your massive shoulder and ask what's wrong?
I also notice the few furs that are in the room,looking over to us. I have always considered myself a very powerful lion, but next to you I look like a kid. Trying to look a little bigger, I flex while talking to you. My feline smell notices all the wonderful masculine scents in the room, including yours. I look back at you and smirk as I know that you can easily outlift any of those here, but I am anxious to see if you have a limit ,and what it will be. I also seem to notice a slight stirring in my gym shorts.

Well ... he was one of the furs who seemed to object to me lifting the several thousand pounds on the bench press the last time I was in the gym here. He's ... giving me the look. It seems like he's gotten a lot stronger since then. He's squatting nearly as much as I was benching back then. I ... just get the feeling that he's not too pleased that I'm here again. I don't want to make enemies, you know.

I'm here with you my friend, I've got your.back, you.have absolutely nothing to worry about! I think he's just concerned about how big you've gotten. I mean look at him he's small compared to your size. I'm not even sure he would remember you considering you've changed so much! Just smile and nod in his direction, and let's get on with warming up. *tries to fight off the blush that is warming my cheeks, but I just nod over to the bull giving me the evil eye. He grunts and snorts at me, clearly remembering me from the last time I was here. He waves to the squat rack that he's loaded full of heavy plates and gives me a cocky grin. I look back at you and ruffle my mane* ... He seems to be happy with the fact that he's squatting that full bar of plates. Maybe he doesn't actually remember that I was bench pressing a little more than that weight the last time I was here. That was a couple years ago. Should I ... show him what I can do now?

Now I understand the term bullheaded. He has nothing on you my friend. I think we should both show him what we can do!* Walking over to the weights, we both look them over and realize there's not enough there to show what we can do.* Let's combine the weights from that rack on to this rack and really put on a show! You and I can put him to shame! He then will possibly give up this bullying stance and who knows? Perhaps he'll become a fan

I don't care what it is as long as it pushes Chester to his limits and really makes him struggle to lift it. I always feel that no matter how heavy an object is, in your stories Chester usually JUST lifts it no problem. I mean he has to have A limit somewhere right, now push that limit!

I thought there have been a few times where he's struggled. There was the school bus scene. There was pretty much every heavy thing in the farm chores story ... well, not the truck so much, but the boulders and the trees. The bank vault. Hopefully there were some others. I guess I will try harder though

After I posted my coment I continued to think about it and you are right. I would however like to read (I assume this is about a written short/story) a scene were Chester has to make one or two fail attemps to lift/move something and than with him summoning all of his strength though still struggling is able to lift whatever it his he is lifting. A scene like that would not only show of Chets physical strenght but also his determinaltion and his strenght of character.

As for what he is lifting, I have this scenario where Chet is participating in a bodybuilder/strong fur comptetion and something happens (a fire, earthquake you pick it) and chet has to either lift a part of the collapsed ceiling or hold the still collapsing ceiling up to allow the guests to escape.

This is the story with the school bus scene I mentioned. I like your idea of the collapsed ceiling or girders. I'll have to give some thought to that, and then see if my little scene description meets with your approval *nuzzles a bit shyly*

Yes, I have kind of edited the roof collapse idea. Still the roof collapsing, but for a different reason. It's a little bit similar to the warehouse scene in the same story I linked you to. Although, we were trying to bring the roof down there heh.

I always felt like that too understand a character you need to know were they came from (That's why I started with Furvus his stories from the start but he has SO MANY of them, I really should continue them).
As for the story, like I said I'm looking forward to whatever you write no matter what form it takes (but I'm happy that you like the roof collaps idea).
