I can do the lettering side but... as far as turning it into a useable font that you can type up... nope.

A friend has used this service for making icon fonts for web development. I don't know if there's anything it won't do for doing letter fonts (like kern settings?) but maybe it helps:

Yeah.. I understand what you want to do. And that tool is made for making icon fonts (like wingding type deals) but it seems to me that you could load letters (svg format or whatever) into it's font generator. The point of the too is to create a font to load into a web page instead of web "sprites" for reusing common icons... but as text fonts, not sprites. But you're still creating a font out of vector graphics, regardless of whether it's pictures of airplanes and checkmarks or actual letters.

I have created a few custom fonts. First look for a program called Font Forge https://fontforge.github.io/en-US/

You will need to create each letter induvidually in your choice of vector image editor (I use illustrator) and save each letter as an .SVG file

You then import each letter into Font Forge, adjust the spacing and export the font as either a .TTF or .OTF file

I tried this one< I was having a lot of issues with it, the menus kept appearing way off screen and refusing to move, crashed a bunch and was generally heka frustrating. I don't know if I did something wrong

There used to be a site called MyScriptFont which was stupidly easy to use, produced good results, and was free. All you'd do was download the template, write the letters, and have them convert it for you. It's called Calligraphr now and it seems like they've made some improvements, I haven't used it since the name change but maybe you could try it out? https://www.calligraphr.com/en/
