"I had sold a slot for a custom made fursuit that I had owned (I had the slot from another maker, Fuzzworks) That I had to sell due to a dire need for cash to pay my bills. I was contacted by Afton Campbell on Instagram a few days later. They claimed to have wanted to purchase my fursuit slot, and were very compassionate about purchasing the slot from me.

I asked if they were a minor, and stated if they were, I needed an email from the parent along with a photo of their ID to confirm that they were giving permission for the child to purchase the suit slot. I got the email along with the photo of the ID, so I believed it and sold them the slot.

This morning I received a message from the child's mother, claiming that the child had stolen their credit card and purchased from me, and many others. I cannot afford a chargeback on my account as I will literally lose everything that I own. My cats, my house, my belongings, everything. I will be out on the street.

I spent the money on helping a friend not be homeless, groceries, rent, and debts I have.


I'm going to be trying my hardest to get this resolved, but seeing how paypal usually sides with the buyer if the claim is filed through a credit card company, I am at a loss.
