Burglar??

·✦⊱ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・⊰✦· As stated in my previous journal, this past two days I was away in a cabin without any wifi. And may I just add, it was AMAZING! Made smores (tho it was a gloomy weekend and rained), went kayaking, boating, caught a bunch of fish!
ANYWAY, while we were there, the next door neighbor's house was broken into WHILE we were right next door.
And here's what happened!!
So me and my bf arrived at the cabin at 6-7pm, we went down to the lake (right in the backyard) when we saw the "neighbors"
which was 2 girls and 2 guys, around the same age as us (19yrs-23yrs, college age). They were playing beer pong, nothing out of the ordinary. The girls were wearing short shorts with a bikini top and the guys were shirtless but it was already pretty dark so we didn't see much features (btw, its like 60'F, so its too cold for this attire lol)
8-9pm rolls around and were eating burgers by the fire when one of the girls comes over to the fence drunk and asks us to take their picture. 1st. Rude xD we were eating, 2. we were so hesitant because this is just some drunk stranger. So we say yeah maybe later and remind us.
ANYWAY, they continue partying and I go to bed around 11pm. Next day we get a knock on the door from a strange man saying his house was broken into. Of course we were nervous so we didn't tell him our names or anything. Later on we go downt to the lake to find cops at the neighbors house.
TURNS OUT the "neighbors" were burglars, they had broken into the ACTUAL neighbors house (the strange man) and his own tool shed and decided to throw a party.
Oddly enough the burglars did the dishes and took out the trash lol (and no, the man does NOT have kids or anyone who would have kids who would be "borrowing" his house)
We filled out a report with the cops and everything, but omg, its amazing what can happen. What happens normal was actually not. Makes u feel a little on edge to think how easy it was.

that's kind of terrible. Maybe they were thinking they could just sneak in and out cause they can do whatever they want.

I was thinking it was just some college kids having "fun" for last time of summer. after all they were drunk. Maybe a "no harm, no foul" but from what I was overhearing, they mightve had cameras and be able to catch the people!

rofl I wouldnt judge my eyes, I dont rlly remember what they looked like besides... typical college people lol, one of the girls even said "omg your like, so drunk!" xD so like...
