Hello, everyone! This is a poll that I'm doing for class, so I'd really love to hear your responses!
To answer the prompt below, follow the guideline:
- Answer (Y/N)
- Gender (M/F/Nb)
- Age
Please, PLEASE answer the prompt via. Telegram or Twitter (@R_A_Sohji) or FA Notes!
The prompt: For my General Sociology class I have been asked to find some information on peoples attitudes about the use of public bathrooms.
You may be aware that this summer, the Texas State Legislature tried to pass a law that has commonly come to be known as "The Bathroom Bill". This bill would have required people in government buildings and public schools to use the bathroom that corresponds with the sex indicated on their birth certificates. The bill was defeated in mid-August, but the Governor of Texas would like to see it put back on the agenda at the next Legislative session.
Do you think people who identify as transgender should be required to use the bathroom that corresponds with their biological sex?
Thank you in advance!

I'll say I identify as non-binary to answer this question though, but your professor should go for far more important issues that we (society) face as a whole
It does not bother me who is sharing a bathroom next to me. Trans women are women and I support them wholeheartedly.
Bit biased on this but it shouldn't be up to the government to tell people who they are.
- Gender Female.
- Age 28
I do not think government should have power to authorize or not what restrooms people can or cannot use, it is an abuse of power.
Personally I do not care who is peeing next to me, as long as they are not harmful or intending to creep.
