Welcome to the very first NEFurs Tabletop Gaming Night!
RUNDOWN!
Location : Your Friendly Neighborhood Tabletop Shop
741 New Britain Avenue, Newington CT
Cost : Purchase a 5$ In-store credit certificate
Time : Start at 6pm....End at 9pm
Date : Friday September 29th
Fursuitting will be allowed....however space is limited in the shop. It is a big place but playing board games or card games in fursuit may be a little difficult. TBH I made this meet to actually deter people from fursuitting and just hang out and to have fun. But if you really want to fursuit, you may do so. There will not be a headless lounge....and being that people are playing card games (hence light cards plus fan equal cards everywhere) there won't be fans everywhere lol. If you do choose to fursuit, please do so at your own risk. We will take a group picture at some point during the meet, or at the end if there are people who decide to fursuit. Please be curteous to the other patrons of the shop that night.
This meet will be held on a friday due to store hours on saturday only being until 6pm. On friday they are open until 10.....they do have a magic tournament on friday nights. If you would like to play in the tournament....you will have to pay the entry fee and also there will be absolutely NO FURSUITS in the tournament. Also....DO NOT bother or harass the people in the tournament. Also please keep the noise and chatter to a low level.....no screaming or yelling. I would like to have this meet again...you don't want to be the one to ruin it for everyone else lol.
The cost for this meet is 5$ per person.....you will have to check in at the front desk with your real name and fur name....and purchase a 5$ in store credit certificate. This can be used towards games, card packs, or anything else they sell in the store. This 5$ allows you the use of the tables as well as any open box game they have available to play. You may however bring your own games too....magic, pokemon, legendary, joking hazard, etc.
After the meet is over, we will go to Sliders in Berlin (about a 3-5 minute drive) the same place as we go after the furbowls. The address for Sliders is 197 Episcopal Road Berlin CT. Around 8pm I will take a head count and call ahead to reserve tables. Sliders is a sports bar that serves their famous wings, burgers, wraps, and a whole list of on tap beers :)
This is an awesome shop, they have a ton of board games available to buy....also gundam, some building kits, card games, pokemon stuff, and much more! They supply the board games for the game rooms at TinyPawsCon and Furpocalypse....so another reason to be on your BEST BEHAVIOR! :D Thank you and have fun at the 1st ever Tabletop Gaming Night! :D
Please feel free to invite anyone....if they choose to go please PLEASE have them click "GOING" on the facebook page.....or comment here with how many are going....I need to give the shop a head count one week prior to the meet so they know how much table space to reserve for me. THIS IS IMPORTANT! I don't want anyone to not have a seat to sit in D:

Time : 6pm start....play until you finish the course. But please try to be done before 10...the course closes at 9pm....please don't take all night lol

Fursuitting is allowed and strongly encouraged....this is a halloween haunted mini golf!
Please by courteous to other patrons...don't take too long at the holes and also if you get stuck with a line behind you, step aside and let people go by you as they won't take as long. Please keep the flow moving and no horsing around.
If people want to go out for food after the meet....we will go to George's Pizza in Unionville a few minutes down the street. They are open until 2am on saturday....they serve rustic italian food and pizza. Also connected next door is The Olive Bar serving Burgers and Gyros, and all sorts of apps. And a huge beer list! The kitchen is open late! I've eaten here multiple times, the food and beer list is very good! :D

THE GROUP PHOTO WILL HAPPEN BEFORE GOLF! This way when people are done golfing, they don't have to wait around for everyone else to be done for the picture. There is an ice cream parlor next door so if you'd like ice cream, feel free to visit it :D

But one thing, I see the times of these events but no dates? I read thru the journal pretty quick so it's possible I missed them
Might be able to make the gaming meet in september, but unfortunately the golf meet is a no-go this year. Sora and I will be on our honeymoon in Hawaii that day
