Melkiah - Now Resolved

EDIT: On the 1st May 2020, I was able to get my money back, and this arc is officially finished with this artist.
The rest here is mainly kept as an archive of the events.
This is probably as close to an Artist Beware that I'll cover, and really the relevancy on this person is nearly disappeared.
For now, I want to just close this particular part of history away.
I know a number of people had issues with them, and things have gone into radio silence.

What: Paid for commission nearly 4 years ago without any sign of progress or completion. Little to no communication
When: They had opened up for commissions around 2013, I put forward $40 for a general commission on the 30th September, later sent an additional $90 on a more adult image for the 20th December the same year. Both commissions were paid in full, with the second sent in two installments (20th & 30th).
Explain: Coming across their art through FA, and had previously gotten art from them through a timely manner (now only available on their IB), I had requested for a commission for additional art, which they accepted. After agreeing to them taking a short hiatus, progress of art soon turned into a trickle due to real-world circumstances. Communication on their progress was non-existent (on both ends), and updates on his current state were from now deleted journals. Discussion for the secondary piece was done through Skype, which unfortunately didn't archive the chat done through here, and attempts to get a full screen grab from their to-do list were limited (Personalised info and mature descriptions were censored) Fast-forward 2 more months from the PM from inkbunny, and again no further replies from them. From what is gathered, I am not the only one having these issues, as evidenced by messages left on the artist's FA & IB page
