That is quite a change. If you don't mind me poking your brain, why did you decide to make the shift from law enforcement? Why commercial driving? I know two CDL drivers, one B class, one A, the latter being on the road as I type this.

Personal and family reasons, and I hate confrontation and I got tired of it. Love my coworkers and supervisors and all but I think it's time for a change. As for commercial driving I love to travel, it's sorta in my nature to move around, and I think it would be a nice way to go and see things and meet people. I'm going for a class A

Great way to do it. My trucker comrade and I synced our phone GPSs and I can see all the neat places he goes. It's funny how I really excel at conflict resolution, but I don't have the physical or mental composure for law enforcement, on top of being a rather bad shot with a firearm. Good luck on the test and if you get on the road soon after, make sure you call people (Bluetooth, of course) if you don't partner with someone. My trucker comrade's an introvert, and the prolonged solitude still wears him down after awhile.

Where did you go for vacation? The beach? Abroad in neighboring cities or states?
