As some of you know already, I will be in Florida visiting family during the possible impact of hurricane Irma. We have taken all possible precautions as far as gathering supplies and ensuring our place of stay is a well fortified building. I will do my best to keep all of you informed of our status but rest assured our personal safety is our #1 priority on this trip. For those of you personally closer to me I will attempt to keep contact with you while cellular service lasts, but due to emergency situations federal and local authorities will likely request "unneeded" use of the cellular system to be reserved to allow for emergency calls.

We have been through hurricanes before but I know I will have friends at home worried about us and I would at least like to keep you guys informed when I can.
