the whole nazi thing

so... I'm not in favor of Nazis and supremacists and all that jazz, but... when the word "ban" starts floating around (especially here at FA) I get a little nervous.
It's about slippery slope and gray area and all that.
It could start with banning pics that "promote hatred and violence", maybe nazi furs, pics glorifying school shootings... but where will the admins draw the line? the obvious thing that -some- people love pointing out is antifa and black lives matter. but then even beyond that what about macro furs rampaging through a city? or furs that do hard vore? or the million other examples of pics that could be defined as "promoting violence"?
I'm just worried that some (not even all) admins will start stepping over lines, and start taking down pics/users that really shouldn't be taken down.
It's happened before here. any one admin might have a chip on their shoulder, and take a rule to its next step.

FA+

SF has always had a strict ban on anything nazi related, you can't even post anything with a swastika or anything that looks like an SS uniform. It's because Tomal is German and the servers are hosted in Germany, where there are very strict laws against the use of any kind of nazi symbols.
If FA were to put (or maybe already has) a server in Germany they would have to do the same. That's why they ban cub, because their server host won't host them if they allow it.
It's not always about "what's going on in the world/[insert random country here]".
I am okay with this. If helping admins screw up it is them not the rules.
but rules are there for reasons.
this are two seperate issues.
But heres a thought: If they're banning "Hate" and "Terrorist" group content does that mean they'll ban all this antifa cringe shit too? I mean, they are a terror group now.
Black Lives Matter? "Don't shoot me" does not compare to "kill all the Jews." Antifa? Does that even exist? Because every single example of "Antifa" the Trumpanzees have produced have been outed as fake.
Presenting a false equivalency is a favorite tactic of total assholes who broke the rules, did so deliberately, got caught, and were penalized for it. Even more true of the alt-right, who are notorious for being whiny little bitches, constantly whining that they are being oppressed every time an atheist, LGBT, or any other non-right-aligned person confirms that such people actually exist.
Could it possibly lead to other things being listed? Well, yeah, especially when the Nazis slap a new label on themselves and start squealing like pigs every time somebody points out it's the exact same shit under a new label (truly, nobody is a bigger language Nazi than a literal Nazi -- "They're not undocumented! They're illegal! It's not Happy Holidays! It's Merry Christmas! It's not the Civil War! It's the War of Northern Aggression! It's not a lie! It's an alternative fact!", etc.). And yes, the Nazis will certainly attempt to have non-extremist subjects censored, but I promise you the argument will only look intimidating when they all gather together and start squealing in unison, but will ring completely hollow once you actually look at the words.
First was a recent incident where a troller who has since been suspended, I can only presume, responded to repeated warnings about block evasion by, a process that has been dubbed shadow-blocking, where he-
#1: Made a blatantly incendiary comment on someone's artwork or journals.
#2: Immediately blocked the user.
#3: Lurked at the location of the comment waiting for the user to respond somehow.
#4: Reported the user to the admin for block evasion.
And one of the admins, at least at first, was letting him get away with this. But me and every other F.A. user (that I know of) he pulled this shit on appealed the decisions and did have them reversed.
The second one. . . You know, I don't even remember what the original problem was. But I do remember it ended up focusing on one admin in particular, who, I just checked, is no longer an admin.
So yes, there is a real risk of an admin siding with the abusers and imposing the "slippery slope" dynamic. Fortunately, there are ELEVEN staffers with the authority to manage the trouble tickets. If one of the admins goes rogue and applies a "creative interpretation" of the site rules to something it should not, there are six other users on equal or higher footing that could, if alerted, overrule the decision.
What you described is the drawback of having such a large staff; the more people who can handle trouble tickets, the more likely the chances of someone deliberately mishandling it. But the benefit is the decreased likelihood of such abuse being permanent.
So my advice on this issue, for all F.A. users, would be to stay familiar with the ToS and CoC, and to get prepared for that kind of battle as soon as the trollers / abusers make themselves known.
